I love that every year I see fewer and fewer people in my social circle celebrating the 4th of July, people are FED UP with the US

#this year especially #why would I celebrate the country I had the misfortune to be born in #literally just DAYS after the supreme court said 'fuck you' to millions of people with student loans #and rolled back queer rights based on a literally MADE UP CASE #meanwhile one of the main candidates for the Republican presidential nomination is running on an openly homophobic platform #and the government still requires me to file taxes with them despite living and working in another country #to punish me for deigning to leave the 'greatest country on earth'
