Just as I thought my life was slowing down a little so I could focus on myself & enjoy what I got currently going on, it reminded me that no, I can't have that without an absolute horrid thing happening that'll drain me for at least a few weeks.

I'm going to recover because I'm a stubborn bitch who also knows I deserve better. But man is it rotten work.

#newt's ramblings #tldr my mom's ex (who I have a very complicated relationship with) ended up in the hospital #he's taken care of now & will recover there for 2 weeks #but the entire situation is so fucked up in ways I do not want to share online #the only thing I will bitch about is his sister absolutely RIPPING into me over the phone (UNDESERVED MIGHT I ADD) to the point where- #- I cried on the phone with my stepdad's best friend later #and even had to message my therapist - something I never had to do before #I hate my stepdad's family and his best friend is a wise man for never having had any contact with them throughout the decades

Zelda was born in Miami but moved to New York when she was still an infant. Her parents were never married and split up shortly after moving to New York however they were able to stay civil about it and were really great parents. Her dad got married and she got 4 step siblings.

 Her childhood was fairly normal, she was loved and had a great family. Her dad is her best friend. 100% and so was her grandmother on her moms side. Growing up she kind of just flew under the radar, especially in school and like she wasn't popular but she wasn't unpopular she was kinda just there. Her relationships in school were typical, just short lived romances that she happened to get too attached to and would often end up getting hurt.

 Once she graduated she moved to California to kind of break away and start her own life. She started going to school to become a Registered Nurse, specifically in the Labor and Delivery department. About a month after her 18th birthday she became a cam model and loves doing it. She's very open and unashamed about it and thinks talking about her job and not being ashamed will help stop stigmas and judgement about sex work.

 Her love life has continued to be a mess, and she seems to fall in love with anyone who gives her attention.  However the people she's been interested in, never seem to be interested in her in the same way So she never feels good enough and often feels like people use her especially because of her job. so its a double edged sword. So she’s closed herself off emotionally and usually runs when she feels she’s getting too close to someone. 

She’s a huge flirt and really loves attention, sex validates her and she plays into the cam girl role a lot, using sex as a crutch and feels like she’s only good for random hookups. She’s a very affectionate person, wanting to pour her love into other people but has trouble accepting any. 

 Drug TW: She moved to Atlanta after she eloped in Vegas to a man she'd been hooking up with and realized that it was a mistake, getting the marriage annulled. She’s been struggling with a pill addiction for the last few years after getting hooked to painkillers after a hiking accident. 

 She met a boy named Danny in Atlanta, and it was a complicated relationship. He fell in love with her really fast, too fast and it freaked her out. So they went back and forth between being friends and not being able to be around each other. He ended up stealing a bunch of money from some people and they're looking for him and know his connections to Z so they had to run away and now they are here and pretending to be married under a fake surname to keep their identities hidden.
