@abrazimir requested 1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have? for character solidifying! [accepting]

Vezely did not have a literal father. She belonged to a seer named Brömran who claimed her in a raid ( an allowance made by the tribe’s leader, Vezruk, due to a prophecy Brömran spun of the elf child’s life in connection to his oldest daughter ). However, the seer could not take care of a young child, so she grew up in the service of Vezruk’s household ( i.e. as a slave ). Two men, the seer and the tribe’s leader, were potential father figures to her. The seer abused her, the leader treated her fairly. However, it was Vezruk who took full guardianship of the girl after she protected his daughter in a raid ( ironic truth to the seer’s dubious prophecy ).
Vezruk was considered a great man among his tribe. Strong, unrelenting, respected. But not unlike the seer, he also sought to use the child. With eyesight and hearing keener than a man’s, if trained, she could be instrumental to future invasions ( that the Pultai were planning ). Vezely was ignorant of this and doted on him. She also began to emulate him in every way: demeanor, fighting style, speech, and political ambition. Many would comment on the similarities even long after Vezruk’s passing. Her “father” could do no wrong and his influence structured who she became ( from an essentially empty shell of a child prior ).
I realize some of this is vague, but I wrote much more extensively about Vezruk and Vez’s relationship here if anyone is interested, plus an arsehole of a fc choice.
