Stereolab - Escape Pod (From the World of Medical Observations) (from The Free Design ep and also Oscillons from the Anti-Sun) I heard this track on Riley & Coe yesterday and then found this really cool video made by a fan of Apple computers. Pretty nice! Love this song and it really goes well with this video.

About Sky Records: The record company was founded in the year 1975 and went on to become one of the few German labels to reap international acclaim. It was run by Gunter Körber, who quit his job at Metronome where he and Bruno Wendel had spent four years developing and managing the legendary Brain label. About Tim Gane: No less a figure than Tim Gane, the man behind Stereolab, has delved into the Sky Records archives for the Kollektion series. Gane has never hidden his love of Krautrock; many a Stereolab song has its foundations in the typical "motorik" beat, while his latest band, Cavern Of Anti-Matter wallows in Klaus Dinger rhythms. Experimental sounds hold no fear for him, as early noise cassette releases under his Un-Kommuniti alias testify.

This definitely is a tough match, as Daniel Cukierman/Tim Sandkaulen had to face the first seeds the Sabanov brothers (Ivan/Matej). And the latter had the level to dominate the first set.

They started by having to face a break point because of their double fault. Somehow, they came in a clutch to hold the first game 1-0. They got their break point several ganes later, in which Matej's swift backhand return gave them the break to 4-2.

This form continued by the Sabanov brothers successfully breaking for the set because of Cukierman's failed volley. Although one of the set points was saved because of Sandkaulen's successful volley, it was insufficient to neuter the Sabanov brothers' established net game.
