The biggest shame of my life would be being able to speak only my native languages + English

#maybe it’s a non-English speaker moment but idk how mfs out there are so chill when they know only one language #I’m glancing at you Americans lol from my personal experience they are not really keen on learning foreign languages #like I’m belingual + my English is okay + I used to learn French at school it was pretty decent must I’ve given up on it #I love how it sounds and I can understand French songs/ to shows/ books but grammar is beyond me idk how anyone can be fluent in French #that’s something my brain can’t handle lol #I liked Spanish classes much more and I used to take it for 2 years so I’m far from a fluent speaker lol. it’s like A2 now at best #which is not enough to understand native speakers + I struggled with phonetics lol it’s so different from my mother languages #though the language itself is easy and you can understand some Italian too lol
