As someone who has not watched Clone Wars but has read a lot of fanfic... why the f are the Jedi sending teenagers into war zones? When they have a large Temple? Where the children could stay? Or you could send them to help out at (safe) hospitals? What. Why. ??? ???

not to split ends but canonically in the movies the younglings staying at their large Temple didn’t exactly work out well for them either

#asks #I subscribe to the school of thought where it’s not that deep and it’s a show meant for kids #and kid shows have kid protagonists #even if it makes no sense or puts a child in harms way or in the war #I imagine that’s also why the enemy that the children are killing is a droid army #so Ahsoka isn’t cutting people in half at age fourteen #though I guess the droid army was also in the movies first so 🤷‍♀️ #I don’t really think about it too much #and any fix it fic I like or write doesn’t really address the padawans as commanders thing #because I just take it as a part of the world
