Aw TYTYTY so much!! I'm so glad you liked it and OMG A REQUEST Okay, so this is kind of long but this was really fun to think about!!!! Maybe I should do more HCs

If you were a housewife to Mr. Riddler he would definitely make sure that you wouldn’t have to have a job outside of that

He also would buy you whatever your heart desired! He loves that you spend your day working on the apartment and keeping up with chores and making sure that life is nice for the two of you, but he would also want to reward you HEAVILY for it

Having a real home for the first time in his life? That’s meticulously cared for and always having a safe space and person to return home to? You’re getting whatever you want. He’s going to keep trying to make you happy for the rest of his life

On days when he works, he gets up earlier than you and leaves coffee out for when you wake up along with a note that says he loves you with a riddle on it

If he sees something that he thinks you’ll like when he’s going to or from work he brings it home for you. If you have a sweet tooth he’s always bringing home candy for you and pieces of pie from the diner

He’s definitely really messy unfortunately… He’ll keep his ledgers and notebooks and sketchbooks meticulous and in order but anything other than that is a mess. Dusting? For what reason?

So many used cups everywhere, a lot of them are still full

Is always amazed when he comes home from work and sees that you’ve cleaned and will hug you and squeeze you and tell you how much he appreciates you 

“I appreciate you so much baby, do you know that? I appreciate everything you do for me you’re so amazing”

Growing up with no family to learn from and having all of his meals pre-made at the orphanage he has zero knowledge of cooking. Easy non-cooked meals, ordering takeout, making coffee, or using the microwave is about the extent of his skills. 

Despite this he will try to help you cook dinner sometimes. It will not go well. “What do you mean you have to preheat the oven?” 

He loves everything you cook for him, even if something was bad he wouldn’t tell you. One time you accidentally put salt instead of sugar into your cookies and you watched him eat 4 of them. It wasn’t until you had one later that you realized the mistake you made. 

You: *spitting out cookie* “Why didn’t you say anything??” Edward: “Baby you work so hard, I couldn’t possibly detract from your accomplishments.” You: “what does that even mean” Edward: *giggles*

He’s super observant and always notices when you struggle with things. If he sees you having a really hard time getting a dish clean the NEXT day you will find ten different dish soaps and 20 different scrubbies in the kitchen. “I didn’t know what would help so I just got all of them.” 

This boy gets in the way when he's home. You're washing the dishes? He's wrapping his arms around you from behind. You're trying to open the fridge? Kiss first. Walking from room to room to put laundry away? Pulled into a hug. Sometimes it's hard to get anything done!

Only he gets to take the trash out. There is no WAY he’s letting you carry stinky gross garbage down all of those stairs and then go into the alley way? Alone?? Forget it. 

He has to be there to help you with laundry. He doesn’t like you carrying all that weight down steep stairs by yourself and doesn’t like you being in the laundry room alone. 

After you had gotten a stain on one of your favorite shirts while cooking, he brought you home an apron the next day. He thought it looked so cute on you that he went out and bought you ten more in your favorite colors and patterns and of course, one green one that he hand painted his Riddler logo onto. 

On the weekends he takes you out since you’re cooped up in the apartment all week. He takes you out to dinner and parks and whatever else you want to do.

Come Monday morning he HATES leaving you and has even called in sick before. Once he got reprimanded at work he stopped doing it, but still hates leaving you. 

Texts you throughout the day, every day just to tell you he loves you and ask how you're doing

When he gets home from work, it's cuddle time. It's like the gif above. He's hugging you, he's kissing you, he's asking about your day and hanging on every word.
