uH yeah so here’s wild life update thing explanation whatever cause ye a h
As of the past several days I had no access to any of my stuff, especially my phone or computer, due to being strong armed into a hospital. I've been working rough dead-end retail and retail-adjacent jobs for the past several years alongside my freelance artwork with perpetual aspirations of one day applying myself to a more official long term job as a game artist. But with crippling anxiety, depression, and the constant lack of self confidence I've still not achieved that. And throw in working jobs that perpetually drain me of any energy, sufficient mental or emotional stability, and especially time- you get the idea it's been a nasty cycle I won't go into detail with.
In order to solve this situation, and get out of a toxic household, I’ll be moving to the city my best friend and her wife live in. Having direct access to friends and finally being separated from the emotionally distressing situation I’m in now is of top priority. And currently something I’m making a point of rapidly putting into motion.
Due to? Everything? I’ll also be tackling a few other things during all this. Firstly I will be starting to pull together work for a proper portfolio for job hunting. Then contacting a handful of very overdue commissions to inquire if they’d still like them done or would rather just have the incomplete versions free of charge. Next, responding to a variety of things, artfight related stuff, mentions, messages, etc. And lastly, launching a Patreon; something I’ve wanted to try for years but very much lacked the confidence but with encouragement from others and my situation I’m finally tackling. (actually was tackling all of this before this nonsense started but that sure got disrupted dsdsf)
. So any sort of overdue communications, responses, etc are coming I promise and things are probably gonna be a bit… wild for me over the upcoming months. orz
For now; here's my patreon ( patreon.com/ElvthaliArt ) and the things I am (at least hoping) to offer as of currently and maybe going forward! ;o;
So some of the usual stuff you'll likely be seeing there are:
Fantasy art/themes; I've a heavy bias towards fantasy genre stuff
Humans/Humanoids, Anthro/Furry, Feral/Animals, Monsters/Creatures in general, etc.
Fanart; primarily video games and especially for LoZ & Fire Emblem, but a variety of others mixed in as I have many games I adore;;
LGBT+ positivity; particularly a lot of gay men because? Well duh;;
A concerning amount of sketches/wip/notes; I'm perpetually jumping between ideas, sketches, projects, etc and not to be trusted with anything ever.
Me losing my mind learning/trying stuff; just a small price to pay on the road to infinite power--
And for patrons I'll be (hopefully) exclusively offering:
Sketches, concept art, & WIP peaks; many. many sketches.
Start-to-Finish Progressions; compilations of wip versions of completed pieces to see where it started.
Concepting/Creative Process/Artist commentary; some insight into the mess that is me creating things.
Small bases; simple psd bases for patrons to download and use.
Tutorial/how-do-you-draw-x videos; monthly polls in which I'll attempt to explain/show how I draw something (warning: I'm bad at explaining).
Tutorial/how-do-you-draw-x polls; in which you vote on/request subjects to see me hopefully explain in prior mentioned videos;;
NSFW Artwork; namely lots of queer stuff, particularly gay men, and a bit of teratophilia (monster-people essentially) art.
Monthly warmup commission rough sketches/doodles; request a piece of artwork each month I'll use for warmups/experimenting.
WIP Polls; vote on a selection of WIP pieces to determine which I should prioritize.
..And some general nonsense cause I draw stupid silly stuff for the hell of it sometimes.
And?? That's about it I think? I’m just gonna kick my ass into all this work now so here we go with all this chaos orz

Rest of the final week of current program & starting some new stuff.
-
Mar. 13
I woke up after 1PM.
Did some dishes before doing today’s workout.
First, today’s DD. 2′ chest squeeze with EC. I forget if I’ve had to do his one for a whole 2′, but oof. That took some digging in, especially in the las ~30″ of it. Got to trembling from fatigue and occasionally paced a bit as distraction. But mission accomplished, there.
Last, Chapter 58 of AoP. First section was traveling, 24TP. Done at Level 2, as high knees, and in one go. Was a bit of a challenge loading things that way. But manageable.
Workout proper was done at Level 3 (7 sets, 20 push-ups per set.) I definitely savored the 2′ rest time. Had a brief bit of doubt whether I could maintain Level 3, but happy I managed. Admittedly push-ups weren’t very refined and counted holds a bit fast. No less a challenge.
Picked up some iced coffee and spent time updating some logs/archives. Keep falling behind on that tool, keep recognizing this as a sign things Are Not Going Well. But anyways...
I did make another Hello Fresh meal, today. Southwest plant-based protein over rice. A pretty tasty recipe. I think I’m getting a bit of a hang of handling this plant-based protein stuff, in cooking.
Spent rest of day on the usual stuff.
Got to bed around the same time as yesterday, in the red zone.
-
Mar. 14
I woke up around 11AM.
Did a bit of the usual before starting on my exercise...
First, today’s DD. 40 push kicks with EC (20/20). A fun little exercise, nothing too flashy.
(After an interlude of distractions...)
Last, Chapter 59 of AoP. Looks like yesterday, I traveled to the wrong camp location - so I made the first thing I did for the chapter was traveling the 25TP from where I was and where I needed to be. Level 2, as high knees. I split this into 15+10.
Did the workout proper at Level 3 (5 sets, 4 push-ups per defined combos). I went for max rest.Push-ups got a bit sloppy and I did get to feeling it.. But it wa ultimately manageable work!
After hitting the showers and sketching a future art project idea, I spent the rest of night on the usual.
I got to bed a little earlier than yesterday, still in the red zone.
-
Mar. 15
I woke up around 10AM
Did a bit of the usual before getting to a psychiatrist appointment. Went okay, aired out a thing and was met with understanding/receptivity. I still think my meds are staining a bit - but hopefully getting back to one-on-one therapy will help.
After getting home, doing some fic reading, and whatnot, got in my exercise.
First, today’s DD. 3′ overhead punches with EC. I counted 382 punches thrown in the duration, happy I managed to stay over 2/sec at that. Very enjoyable exercise.
Last, Chapter 60 of the Age of Pandora Program. Like last time, I went for Morse’s Plan, figured that’d be a fun thing to test against my previous run of the program.
Lotta basic burpees and squats, but unlike last time I managed Level 3 instead of 2 (7 instead of 5 sets). It was still pretty intense, but not quite as brutal as it was for me a year into this journey, yay for progress (definitely dig what a difference going at this stuff has made in the last 5 years...)! \o/
I then made today’s Hello Fresh meal. Pasta primavera in lemon Parmesan sauce. I thought this was pretty tasty.
Spent rest of night on the usual stuff.
I got to bed obscenely late, in the red zone.
-
Mar. 16
I woke up around noon.
Spent a few hours on: getting iced coffee, doing dishes, breaking down some boxes, and organizing some cookware that I recently decided on ordering.
After that and some of the usual peppered in, did exercise.
First, today’s DD. 40 plank rotations with EC. Manageable - took a bit of focus to maintain balance for all of it. Did get a little bit of fatigued, but doable.
Second, Day 1 of the Square One Program. This is a Level 1 Program - so I’m treating it as gentle strength-training and warm-up for the next part of docket. The load was light enough that I modded UP (not using a chair assist) exercises, did things at Level 3, and nixed the rest periods. We’ll see how well I may maintain this - but don’t anticipate issues there.
Last, Day 1 of the Reboot Program. Level 2 Program (cardio-centric), definitely a good deal more intensive than prior for it, considering this the meat of my exercise plan. Did this at Level 3 again, but kept to max rest (did all the hidden burpees, a tiny bit tough on the knees today.)
Spent rest of night on the usual, clothes shopping, and jotting down some more iZ!AU notes.
I got to bed a few hours earlier than yesterday, but still in the red.
-
Mar. 17
I woke up around 11AM.
Went to Seeking Safety Group again, today. Twas alright made some writing notes while teir. Thought about whether I could have the time afterwards to run out to a convenience store while I waited on pick-up - but didn’t do that.
Once I got back home, I got going on my exercise.
First, today’s DD. 50 back leg raises with EC (25/25). Did things as a balance variation. It was nice given how crampy my right hamstrings/glutes were feeling for some unknown reason.
Second, Day 2 of the SOP. Level 3, no rest. Arm work, i kept my arms up for all of the sets and in between them. Got a bit more intensive in the last couple levels.
(After a bit of recovery time, given there was more arm work ahead...)
Last, Day 2 of the RbP. Level 3, max rest. Yeah a lot of bicep extensions / arm raise hold times. Definitely a more intensive load that SOP. Arms got nice and tired.
Spent rest of the day on the usual stuff.
Got to bed later than yesterday.
-
Mar. 18
I woke up around noon and one of the first things I took care of was exercise.
First, today’s DD. 100 shoulder taps with Ec (standing). Manageable work, a bit tough in the last 30 reps or so.
Second, Day 3 of the SOP. Flexibility day, Level 3, no rest again. The Achilles/calf stretches were satisfying. Pretty breezy and good warmup.
Last, Day 3 of the RbP. Leg day, Level 3. I rested ~1′ in between sets, this time. Kinda glad for the short/small lunge intervals here. I feel like I need to give the knees some TLC again here soon...
Spent several hours on the usual stuff (reminisced about some old fandom stuff). Did a bit more writing before getting to bed too.
I got to bed obscenely late, in the red zone
-
Mar. 19
I woke up around noon.
After some YouTube, I got going on my exercise.
First, today’s DD. 10 archer push-ups, no EC. I wasn’t confident enough to do this type of push-up off the knees today - so modded things down that way. Yeah. Not a huge fan of these
Second, Day 4 of the SOP. Level 3, no rest, no assists. Enjoyable and gentle balance work, is what I got from it.
Last, Day 4 of the RbP. Level 3, max rest. Ooof. got to sweating buckets and winded - but done! I’m kinda surprised at how this Level 2 program isn’t as much of a cakewalk as it may seem. the hidden push-ups also helped make things that much more intense. (But I’m still in good enough condition to meet the challenge and I still think the rating is appropriate!)
After a bit of chatting, I made today’s Hello Fresh Meal. Oven-ready chili coconut curry chicken. A pretty low-effort meal, which I appreciated. That said - I may have to throw it in oven longer than specified next time around (i think I may’ve used a bit too much foil to cover the tins - might’ve drawn more heat away from the food like the chicken.) Otherwise pretty enjoyable.
After some dishes and chatting, got some substantive writing progress in (letting FocusMe do it’s job for me more effectively, helped).
I got to bed obscenely late, in the red zone... again.
-
Summary of Experience:
I completed my second run through the Age of Pandora Program in March 15. Quite a few days later than intended... but February/March has really been kicking my ass in terms of stress and energy levels.
At any rate, these are my stats from this run of the program:
Points Traveled: 1,428TP, Level 2, as high knees. (1 point = 10 steps.)
Challenge Levels Taken:
Level 3 for 45 Days (vs 19 from prior record!) - Feels pretty good hitting Level 3 for most of it, this time! \o/
Level 2 for 3 Days (vs 29 from prior record)
Level 1 for 1 Day (vs 1 from prior record) - Chapter 55 still kicked my ass, needed to break after Set 2... again. orz
Jobs Taken: 17 (5 Canis + 12 Misc/Ch.) - Looks like I did considerably less than last time.
Fights Won (Pits): 4 (City Pits) - Not counting instances for plot. It was fun doing more of these, this time around! Probably overdid it a little bit in pacing/loading. Pffft.
[Ending] Scraps: 200
Paths Taken (Spoiler-Free Version): Same as prior run!
Alana, Dicer, and Morse were invited to my camp, again.
---
My stats for the previous run from 2016, for reference...
Part 1:
Points Traveled: 755TP, Level 3, as march steps - mostly. (1 point = 20 steps.)
Challenge Levels Taken:
Level 3 for 10 days
Level 2 for 15 days
Jobs Taken: 20 (8 Canis + 6 Equos + 6 Misc.)
Pit-Style Fights Won: 3 (2 Plot + 1 Extra)
[Ending] Scraps: 4450
Paths Taken (Spoiler-Free Version): B, A, A (Perk Get!), A, B, B (To Be Continued...)
Alana, Dicer, and Morse were invited to my camp.
Part 2:
Points Traveled: 633TP, Level 3, as march steps - mostly.
Challenge Levels Taken: [After fixing counting errors]
Level 3 for 9 days
Level 2 for 14 days
Level 1 for 1 day
Jobs Taken: 8 (2 Equos + 6 Misc.)
[Ending] Scraps: 2,885
Paths Taken (Spoiler-Free Version): B, B, A, B, A (Epilogue B?)

Time for me tor try one of the new programs that was just released a few days ago.
-
Jan. 4
I woke up a bit before 1PM, today.
After a bit of YouTube, I decided to try to get right into my exercise.
First, today’s DD. 50 forward lunges with EC. This was pretty winding and tough. But pretty doable, doing some conditioning work with the knees helps a bit. :U
Second, Day 1 of the Baseline Program. I’m going to be using this to round things out, in continuing the KCP.
Upperbody work. I managed Level 3 without rests (except a couple seconds to track sets) and long counts. I’m pretty sure I can shoot for Level 3 this entire run, but we’ll see if I can get away with making the workouts a single superset, too. Just to make things more challenging! :D
Third, 5′ warmup. I just did march steps. For the record, I’ll do this whenever BLP is not going to involve leg work - KCP takes long enough on it’s own. Pffft!
Last, Day 7 of the KCP. Active day. I managed to get this workout time to be a bit under 1 hour and 40 minutes. Up until after #9, I kept my rest periods close to non-existent between exercises and side-switching. I did keep the rests in between sets (on same side) at about 30″.
...
-
Jan. 5
I woke up a bit before noon.
After a bit of the usual, I went for today’s exercises.
First, today’s DD. 20 basic burpees with a jump, with EC. I decided I would jump into and out of the plank, despite thinking about stepping into and out of them. Pretty winding, but my knees seemed to cope well enough!
Second, Day 2 of the BLP. Lower body work, Level 3 + no rest in between sets. Pretty breezy work and I think a good enough warm-up for the next thing.
Third, Day 8 of the KCP. Active day. Similar approach to yesterday, except I didn’t extend the rest periods between exercises and side switching. Other rests were kept at 30″ or so, however. Still time consuming and pretty challenging- but mission accomplished.
Last, Day 1 of the Get to Bed on Time Challenge, again. I dropped the ball as soon as I finished the last run. So I think I’ll see if doing this a few more times consecutively will help me get control back. I meant to start in sync with the KCP, but I did get to bed in the yellow zone.
...
-
Jan. 6
I got up shortly after noon, today.
Spent a few hours figuring out how to install a digital to analog converter so we can have stereo coming out from TV/FireStick. Increasingly frustrated, I fiddled with tv settings, removed caps on TOSLINK cable, updated the TV firmware... to realizing that the (old) receiver we were using probably was incompatible. Then, used another receiver that had TOSLINK ports (probably the newer of the two).
It finally WORKED... only prob is finding out the cable was the only part of that amazon order that I actually needed. Oh well, I’m just happy it worked.
Them after eating some food, did my exercise for today.
First, today’s DD. 40 squat hold side bends with EC. I still really like this exercise, had fun with it.
Second, Day 3 of the BLP. Level 3, kept my arms up and made into a superset. That definitely get the arms tired - sagging a little by the last few sets. But still very doable.
Third, 5′ warmup. I just did march steps.
Third, Day 9 of the KCP. Active day. I sis manage to get this done in less than 1 hour and 50 minutes - which I’ll count as a win. Mostly did it the same way as yesterday. Stopped tracking by exercise - since I remembered the sequence... mostly. Did accidently swap the calf raises with the leg extensions - but it doesn’t matter that much. Everything was accounted for.
(After doing some of the usual and watching “Old Boy” with pops...)
Last, Day 2 of the G2BC. Got to bed barely in the yellow zone, but I’ll take it.
-
Jan. 7
I woke up a bit after 8AM.
Got to the facility, attended Seeking Safety, chatted with my case manager, went to the diner, and socialized some more before heading back home.
First, today’s DD. 1′ raised leg hold with EC (supine). Despite being somewhat sleep-deprived, I'm glad I could manage. Had to keep the breath steady to get through it.
Second, Day 4 of the BLP. Level 3, one superset (<10″ rest in between sets). This was overall good stuff - digging the forearm work, I feel like I could very much use that!
Third, 5′ warmup. Just some march steps. Felt like I needed to do more leg work before the next thing.
Fourth, Day 10 of the KCP. Rest day. So just that heel cord stretch and the one legged calf raises. My sleep-deprived ass is grateful it was only that, today.
(After some YouTube and Twitter stuff...)
Last, Day 3 of the G2BC. I got to bed barely in  the yellow zone. But I’ll take it. I was p damn tired at that point, anyhow.
-
Jan. 8
I woke up proper just shy of 1PM, today.
Watched a few vids and whatnot before getting into today’s exercise.
First, today’s DD.  40 plank leg raises with EC (20/20). This was pretty doable and fun work! :D
Second, Day 5 of the BLP. Level 3, one superset. Not much to say, other than I found it breezy and enjoyable work.
Third, 5′ warmup. I did 1′ each: march steps, step jacks, march steps, seal step jacks, and march steps.
Third, Day 11 of the KCP. Active day. Things are getting somewhat easier - I may start using weight or increased resistance for some of it in the next week.
(After a bit of the usual and working on some art...)
Last, Day 4 of the G2BC. Barely in the yellow zone again.
...
-
Jan. 9
I woke up a bit after 8AM.
Went to the facility, did some socializing, art work, and attended WRAP Group.
Got home, sent hours on the usual stuff, before
First, today’s DD. 2′ punches with EC. I counted 218 punches by the end and I had a lot of fun! I did think about trying it with wrist weights but I decided I wasn't confident about the safety of it. :,D
Second, Day 6 of the BLP. Level 3, one superset. Probably the only thing that was particularly awkward to execute were the torso rotations, but everything else went pretty smoothly. I rather like this program’s chill!
Last, Day 12 of the KCP. Rest day. Breezy, if a bit redundant to BLP’s calf/heel-cord stretches.
Failed to get to bed on time, despite being pretty tired. :/
-
Jan. 10
I woke up a bit after noon.
I barely got anything done, today. I did a bit of email housekeeping, made some dinner, did the DD, and a little bit of drawing.
As for that today DD. 40 butterfly dips with EC. Been really distracted and somewhat hazy - this kinda helped me get back in the now. :P
Bad time management and distractions made me get to bed too late again. orz
-.
I’m going to go ahead and post this now and draft the next one

Week 4 + SNOWFIGHT 2019 shenanigans, in this one.
-
Dec. 14
Again, I woke up a bit before 1PM. :P
Did a bit of the former usual (I had been participating in the YouTube Walkout, the past few days), before getting in some exercise.
First, today’s DD. 20 superman stretches with EC. Wasn't sure about my clothing choices while doing it, but this wasn't an issue. This was pretty doable, all around.
Second, Day 14 of the ‘19AC. 30″ alt arm/leg raise hold. It was a bit sloppy and I took at least one false start before doing “good enough“, to do it in one go.
Third, Day 7 of the FCP. Endurance, Level 3. I wasn’t sure if this workout meant to specify any rest times in between exercises, so I decided to spend the allotted 12′ keeping the arms lifted. That was certainly tough, but I felt I was capable of doing it!
(After moving in the new recliner, which may or may not be counted as “planned exercise”, and laundry and cleaning... part of which was because bro was clearly unhappy about some stuff and I kind of wanted to take some slack for him. I got this all done rather late.)
Fourth, and intermittently, as mentioned - SNOWFIGHT 2019. This time, it’s squats, not burpees, so I think I may be able to properly stick this one out (if I can manage my time well). This day, I had 8 snowballs thrown at me, and I dodged all of them (before midnight rolled around).
Fifth, Day 18 of the KMC. 160 side kicks, switch legs halfway. My right hip has been acting up the past few days (possibly aggravated by ill-fitting PJs), so I think this was reasonably helpful. Was a bit challenging to get in in one go - but still very doable.
Sixth, Day 18 of the DHC. 1′ dead hang. Hit failure at about 50" again. Did make up the time, very soon after. But I'll keep trying my best. If I can improve my first set times much before the challenge is done, I’ll be happy enough, at this point.
Last, Day 18 of the DGC. I’m grateful:
That Dad seems to be happy about the recliner.
That my plan for furniture placements worked out.
For these fun Fitstivities from DAREBEE.
One of the last things I did today was drafting this post and watching my bro game, before turning in too late again.
-
Dec. 15
I woke up closer to noon today.
I got started on exercise pretty early, today.
First, and intermittently, SF‘19. This day, I had 79 snowballs thrown at me, and I dodged 74 of them (before midnight rolled around).  After the first 15, I also started to do the rest of the event’s squats with 3.5 lbs wrist weights for ech hand. That was a pretty enjoyable decision!
Second, today’s DD. 10 circle push-ups without EC. I just felt my form was too sloppy - a bit too sore and tired.
Third, Day 15 of the ‘19AC. 1′ O-pose. I still very much enjoy this exercise - it’s very meditative.
Fourth, Day 8 of the FCP. Cardio, Level 3. I rested a bit under 1′ in between sets to make it a bit more challenging. Did get a bit winded, but I think my feet didn’t appreciate the slight abrasion built up during it all. Still, it was quite fun!
Fifth, Day 19 of the KMC.120 turning kicks + 120 turning kicks. Did it in one go on 60/60 + 60/60. Pretty doable work.
Sixth, Day 19 of the DHC. 2x10″ dead hangs. I didn’t do a separate warmup this time, since those jacks did p good to accomplish that. This was pretty manageable - as expected.
Last, Day 19 of the DGC. I’m grateful:
That the Impossible Whopper is so good? I know it’s got a lot of salt in it, but as long as BK offers it, my enthusiasm for that restaurant would remain relatively warm. (Other offerings are p underwhelming.)
That Grandma will be able to get me to my appointment tomorrow.
For how useful applications like Excel are (it makes tracking stuff like SF’19 manageable.)
(I realize a lot of these items have been food-related... but they’re pretty easy to think of. :P )
After showering, more SF’19, and YouTube - I went to bed. In the red zone, which was not the best decision - since I had to be up early.
-
Dec. 16
Because I had appointments, I got up around 8AM. And it definitely could’ve been a far smoother experience. My alarm either didn’t go off or I didn’t hear it or whatever - but I woke up to some honking outside.
I didn’t expect the county transport to come get me to the facility - having arranged to get picked up by Grandma. So I opted not to get into the van and started scrambling to get ready. I then buzzed her phone a few times, getting increasingly distressed about if she forgot or was held up.
Thankfully, she did get me to the facility on time, and I regret frustrating and waking up my brother from all my pacing and loudness. I had to spend a few hours getting an assessment and service plan done with the therapist - which was pretty productive work.
Got home, I noted feeling unsettled at some point when home. I think it was because of feeling some sympathy for my brother and what’s going on with him. Other than that, YouTube, and Twitter, I did my exercise.
First, and intermittently, SF‘19. This day, I had 164 snowballs thrown at me, and I dodged 149 of them (before midnight rolled around).
Second, today’s DD. 10 jump squats with EC. This, plus some dodged snowballs, helped some of my frayed nerves, today. :P
Third, Day 16 of the ‘19AC. 2′ side splits. This was a pretty fun challenge.
Fourth, Day 9 of the FCP. Challenge, 100 climbers. Done in 1 set. This was also doable.
Fifth, Day 20 of the KMC. “12 balance kicks side & turning both each leg, no putting your foot down.“ I just remembered that I was able to meet this requirement.
Last, Day 20 of the DHC. 1′10″ dead hang. I managed it in ~55"+15". My first failure time is definitely improving - so I know I'm making progress! :D
Despite needing to get up early again tomorrow, hit the red zone again. orz
-
Dec. 17
I woke up a bit after 8AM, today.
First, and intermittently the last day of the SNOWFIGHT ‘19. This day, I had 149 snowballs thrown at me, and I dodged 169 of them (including some catch-up from older posts).
I dodged all 400 snowballs thrown at me, for this event (if it were burpees, I might’ve dropped out earlier!) I let a lot of my stock melt by the end... but, I managed to spend more than half of the ammunition I had on other Bees (434/802)! Yay for spreadsheets, my dudes.
Second, today’s DD. 1′ plank punches with EC. I counted 44 punches thrown in the time given and enjoyed that punching part the most. I definitely could've used some more sleep, though! :,D
Third, Day 17 of the ‘19AC. 1′ knee balance hold  (back arch balance hold). Not much to say other than I love this exercise!
Fourth, Day 10 of the FCP. Abs & Core, Level 3. I think “keep the plank throughout” was a typo, since there was only one plank in the whole sequence. But overall, it was pretty fun.
Fifth, Day 21 of the KMC. 100 double side kicks. Did it in 50/50, in one go... more or less, a computer alarm did go off and interrupt it for a few seconds. But that was largely a consequence of doing it way too damn late.
Last, Day 21 of the DHC. 2x10″ dead hangs. Pretty manageable work. Even though I don’t like disrupting my schedule so badly - this was merciful given my energy levels.
I was so exhausted by the end of it, that I didn’t get around to DGC but did get to bed in the yellow zone again.
-
Dec. 18
I woke up proper about 1PM, today. :P
Mostly wound up  on the unusual business... and getting back on Steam. So I wound up not getting around to making dinner and exercising very late. Maybe it’s from some jet lag from having to run on too little sleep 2 days in a row. T_T
First, today’s DD. 15 diamond push-ups with EC. Still think my form for this variation is consistently better than standard grip. Have no idea why, but I'm not complaining! :P
Second, Day 18 of the ‘19AC. 1′ one arm plank, 30″/30″ in one go. Tough, but largely because I chose not to put the timer on the floor. :/
Third, Day 11 of the FCP. Tendon Strength. This was pretty challenging too, but that’s tendon strength work for you. Did feel pretty nice afterwards, though.
Fourth, Day 22 of the KMC. 140 turning kicks + 140 turning kicks. Split the kick types into 2 sets, with a pretty short rest (probably about ~20″.)
Fifth, Day 22 of the DHC. 1′20″ dead hang. I'm at a point where I know I can't expect to keep one-shotting things. But I am noticing progress. My first set was a full 1'! Those last seconds were pretty tense - as my left hand was failing before my right - I managed to beat my PB!
Last, Day 20 of the DGC. I’m grateful:
That Grandma got me to that appointment in time, earlier this week.
That my therapist managed to take a bit of time to check-in before we went into the assessment and service plan work.
[Retroactively, from Jan. 1 - ] for how good peppermint is in coffee.
After jotting most of this down, I went to bed, a bit late.
-
Dec. 19
I woke up around 8AM, today.
Got to the facility, socialized and worked on some more art before going to WRAP and Grounding Grps. Also while there, I did today’s DD. 50 squat hold side bends with EC. Did this one wile I was out at the facility, today. I had fun with it!
Got home, did a lot of the usual for some hours until getting the rest of my exercise taken care of.
Second, Day 19 of the ‘19AC. 2′ side leg raise hold. This took some doing, but I’m just glad I got through it.
Third, Day 12 of the Fit Christmas Program. Challenge, 200 high knees. I split this into 2 sets of 100, after a warm-up of a few march steps. Manageable, if a bit winding.
I’m pretty happy with my foray with this short and sweet program. It was nice to be able to Level 3 (for the relevant days), one-going the Tendon Strength, and doing most of the Challenge Days in no more than 2 sets (jumping jacks and high knees).
Fourth, Day 23 of the KMC. 3x 20 slow side kicks + 20 fast side kicks. Also doable work - takes a bit more focus to deliberately do slow kicks.
Last, Day 23 of the DHC. 2x10″ dead hangs. Given lack of sleep, I liked the timing for an easier day. Not much else to really say other than that.
I think because tired and distracted... didn’t do the DGC stuff. Again. And I STILL got to bed too damn late again. :I

Dec. 20
I got up  about 2PM, today. Oops.
Did a bit of the usual as well as some errands, trying on a binder, and doing a bit of impromptu sewing, before exercising.
First, today’s DD. 1′ flutter kicks with EC. I'm pretty sure I managed to hit 100 reps by the time was up. I made the effort to keep lower back flush against floor - so that engaged my abs so much more and took some willpower by the end.
Second, Day 20 of the ‘19AC. 1′ get-up hold. Did the 30″/30″ in one go. Definitely a challenge, I did get to trembling and had to be mindful of how much tension occurred in my hamstrings. But I got through it, without leg cramps or anything.
Third, Day 24 of the KMC. “14 balance kicks side & turning both each leg, no putting your foot down.“ This took a bit of focus, but I’m still doing pretty well for these days of the challenge.
Fourth, Day 24 of the DHC. 1′30″ dead hang. I managed it in ~4 sets (55"+20"+10"+5"; give/take a couple seconds.) That was pretty intense! Though I didn't meet my PB, I'm just happy I was able to hold on for at least 50" in the first set. Left hand keeps failing a bit faster than the right and my forearms felt like jelly afterwards. Pffft!
Last, Day 21 of the DGC. I’m grateful:
For the recent days my bro has been doing the dishes for me - I have been more distractable lately.
For iced coffee drinks, like those from Dutch Bros.
For guacamole. Because that is the shit in burritos and sandwiches. :U
I’m going to go ahead and post this now, draft the next week’s post, and attempt to wind down. It’s almost 5AM. 8I

The interview came and went. Won’t know how I did until a later date.

July 8
I got up a bit after 10AM, today.
Decided to spend some time messing with my Twitter and fandom blogs for awhile, before getting in all my exercise for the day.
First, today’s DD. 2 minutes side-to-side chops with EC. A bit antsy today, but this helped somewhat. I counted 138 reps by the end of the 2', very fun and doable! :D
Second, Day 3 of the T10C. 10′ non-stop punching. I swapped stances every minute (except one time where it was 2′ for both sides.) I also counted 1101 punches thrown, although I may’ve made a counting error at some point... I think this sounds right. (Noting a bit over 100/min.)
Last, Day 3 of CCC. 40 torso twists. This was basically a very similar action to the DD! Pffft. But it was still breezy work! :,D
(Ooof, perhaps it’s all the squats or yesterday’s DD... but my quads have been quite sore today!)
I then took a shower and tried to assemble some notes for that job interview... despite constantly distracting myself out of anxiety. orz

July 9
I got up a bit before 8AM.
One of the first things I did while at the facility was ask other people about their local dentist experiences. I think I may have a solid pick to revise what happened to my molar... so I’m happy I have a bit of direction there.
Then, went to Seeking Safety Group, which went well enough.
I spent the rest of my time there doing a second pass over that stream footage and doing the DD. 30 leg raises with EC. Did this one while I was out at the facility, again. Manageable but certainly a bit tough. :P
One of the first things I had to do once back home was make the family dinner, even though on the inside I was tired and didn’t want to. It was stuffed green bell peppers and tasty, though. Bro also doing the dishes from yesterday’s dinner was nice, too.
Spent a few hours playing games and watching YouTube before finishing up my exercise.
First, Day 4 of the T10C. 7 sets of 40″ squats + 20″ shoulder taps, with a finisher of 3′ of squats. I found this very manageable... had to get going later than intended because I was still digesting my food. :P
Last, Day 4 of the CCC. 70 side leg raises, done in one go. This time I opted to do 50%/50%, which was more challenging than alternating sides. Might try to do the rest of this commitment like that or continue mixing things up. We’ll see. :Ic

July 10
I got up around 9:30AM. Spent much of my day leading up to the interview prepping some notes and getting ready... and getting aggravated with my browser hanging. :/
Got to my interview. Was nervy for awhile out of my own concerns abt my transportation arrangements (Though now I have a few potential plans to get to the facility) & feeling like I didn't prepare myself enough. But I don't think I did COMPLETELY abysmally.
When I got home and got some food in me, I spent some time drafting my thank you notes/letters. Despite still being nervous and attempting to process what occurred. I hope I can get them finished and delivered before tomorrow’s end, once I’ve smoothed some details out.
Remains to be seen whether I got the position or not (going to take a couple weeks or so).
I then worked on some HW my psychiatrist handed me to do, which on some level I didn’t really want to do, because my brain was getting kinda hazy at that point. But did something to that end. (Kinda frustrated with myself for thoughtlessly scheduling my next appointment tomorrow at an awkward time for the county transport... nnng.)
Getting in my exercise helped a bit though.
First, today’s DD. 1′ reverse plank with EC. Took some willpower to get through, but steady breathing is key. Ooof. :P
Second, Day 5 of the T10C. 10 sets of 2x20″ high knees + 20″ climbers, with 1′ march steps as a warmup. Because i didn’t feel like negotiating a HIIT timer situation - I went for 30 climbers for each set. As I went, it was a couple seconds short - but close enough in my book. It was NOT a cakewalk. Had to pace a bit to get the HR down.
Last, Day 5 of the CCC. 40 torso twists. I do appreciate this was the easier of the two days after T10C’s stuff.
-
July 11
Been up since a bit before 7AM, needed to be up earlier for an appointment.
The psych appointment went well enough. Did ask the clinic about the para-transit application. I won’t submit it unless I get this job - because I don’t have the income to support getting [standard OR para] bus tickets, etc..
Then I did some socializing, played some Risk with others, got to WRAP Group, and did the DD. Also asked about something in regard to the interview - when I get the info I need, I’ll finish up and send those thank you letters.
The DD was 3′ balance stand with EC. Did this one while I was out at the facility today. Was not up for doing the EEC though, takes a lot of emotional energy I do not have, today. But I did EC twice, 3'/3' in one go. That was fun and meditative. :D
After all that, got home and mostly tried to get situated. But I did do the rest of my exercise.
First, Day 6 of the T10C. 5 sets of 1′ sit-ups + 1′ flutter kicks. Had to do the sit-ups a bit more slowly and took several pauses for recovery during the flutter kicks. I also did tht latter mostly wwith my head down... too tired to deal with neck strain.
Last, Day 6 of the CCC. 80 side leg raises, in one go. I think I’ll do all of this challenge 50%/50%. Especially given that the other one’s instance of them are side-to-sides.
I’m... was not happy about having to make dinner today. Or doing the dishes. But I had to, even though I running on fumes. orz
-
July 12
I got up at around 10 AM, today.
Spent a few hours on the usual, before getting in my DD, today. 200 squat hold punches with EC. Oof, that took some willpower to get through. But I'm happy I managed it, trying to throw faster punches helps. :D
I also wrote my thank you letters, did dishes, and made the family dinner.
Bleh... let’s just say I found myself in a spiral about the letter, but a friend helped me deal with the anxiety spike. I’m grateful for the reality check.
-
July 13
I got up after noon, today.
I spent much of my time on the usual. But I did get in some exercise.
First, today’s DD. 40 side-to-side lunges with EC. This was pretty challenging, especially in the last 10 or so reps. But this was still pretty manageable. :P
Second, Day 7 of the T10C. 10′ non-stop side-to-side leg raises. Ooof. That was tough. I counted 524 reps in the duration, lifting my left leg got to be harder than the right.
Last, Day 7 of the CCC. 40 torso twists in one go.
One of the last things I did today was prepping for tomorrow’s dinner. Intend to make some vegetarian chili.
-
July 14
I got up before 10AM, today.
Similar thing as yesterday. Did a bit more meal prep and some exercise, though.
First, today’s DD. 60 knee-to-elbow twists with EC. This was pretty fun, first few was a bit awkward because I wasn't super focused. But quickly got in the rhythm and enjoyed myself. :D
I guess making that vegetarian chili today and opting to do some mass repairs on the gloves I use... took too much of my time/energy to get around to doing my main exercise stuff. But hey, knocked out a fairly big To Do, there. :P
-
July 15
I got up around 10AM, today.
I don’t have much to show for myself other than exercise. And eating FAR too many damn cookies today. orz
First, today’s DD. 2′ O-pose with EC. A personal favorite, because of the ab work and the balance focus. But still not a cakewalk, didn't take a whole lot of time before I got to trembling! Steady breathing is key. :D
Second, Day 8 of the T10C. 7 sets of 30″ jumping Jacks + 30″ plank jacks; with a finisher of 3′ jumping jacks. Had to go at a deliberately slow pace with the jumping jacks to get through this, but I managed. My calves really felt it. :,D
Last, Day 8 of the CCC. 90 side leg raises. 45/45 in one go. That got mildly tough shortly after all the jacks.
With that, I should get to bed in a bit, now.
Okay... I really need to hit publish... this post is getting too damn long.

It’s Gladiator Training Plan time.
-
Sept. 21
I woke up a bit after 11AM.
I started on some exercise after a bit of gaming/YouTube.
First, today’s DD. 40 single leg bridges with EC. Not much to say other than this was very doable! :P
Second, 2′ Warmup Workout. That felt very nice for some tight neck/shoulder muscles from those katana workouts.
Third, Day 1 of my Gladiator Training Plan, focusing on strength and tone. I did the “Robin Hood Workout” at Level 1, but with EC (resting only 1′ in between sets.) That got me pretty bushed, not helped by wearing long sleeves in the summer, but I’m happy I got through it.
Last, Day 12 of the B&CP, with Dad. Mods abound, as expected. Though I encouraged dad to try to make the uneven knee planks a bit tough by creating a straight line from knees to head to get more engagement since he remarked them to be too easy that way. Didn’t do that - but there’s always next time.
After making dinner, doing a bit of the usual downtime, and getting mad at my computer... I did spend a bit of time drawing again, tonight.
-
Sept. 22
I woke up around the same time as yesterday.
First, today’s DD. 2′ overhead punches with EC. I counted 220 reps by the end. This got a bit tough with sore shoulders, but still quite enjoyable! :D
Second, Classic Warmup Workout.
Third, Day 2 of my GTP. Today’s workout was “Ab Attack“, as “casual training”, done at Level 1, but with EC. I did all the flutter kicks with head up as illustrated. Ooof, my abs really barely put up with that last set of knee-to-elbow crunches (I opted to stay balanced on the butt for full engagement throughout). And neck still wasn’t a huge fan of high crunches, but I was the one who picked this workout in the first place, pffft! :,D
-
Sept. 23
I got up a bit after 11AM.
Outside of a few moments of downtime - I felt I was pretty busy today. But that’s Mondays for you.
First, today’s DD. 60 shoulder taps with EC (30/30). This was doable but certainly got pretty tough near the end. Loading one side than the next is always a different experience to alternating every rep. Ooof. :U
Second, 4′ Warmup Workout.
Third, Day 3 of my GTP. Today’s workout was “Hardgainer“, for upper-body strength, starting with 10 lbs weights per arm, before realizing I had to take the weight down to 8 lbs after the upward rows. Shoulder presses and tricep extensions suucked, but they’re no less important exercises. Deadlifts are deceptively intense - but more fun to get though.
(After taking a shower, putting laundry in the wash, and more downtime...)
Last, Day 13 of the B&CP with Dad. Yoga Day, like last time, this kicked his ass. But we managed to get through it, with various mods. One being reclined cobblers instead of reclining heroes. Another being instead of pigeon, we did a sitting posture with rear leg bent to 90° or front leg also bent instead of tucked in - I think dad’s ankles and hips need to get a bit more flexible.
Got to bed a bit too late, showing pops some YouTube vids before getting to bed, afterwards.
-
Sept. 24
I woke up a bit before 8AM.
Got to the facility, socialized, went to Seeking Safety, had breakfast at the diner, and did some drawing while there. My triceps, and generally my arms/shoulders have been so sore from recent workouts, too. :.D
Got home and was really busy, despite so badly wanting a nap. orz
I picked up my meds, baked some take ‘n bake pizza, did the dishes, packed the pizza, filled some pill cases and emptied some wastebins. All before starting on some exercise.
First, today’s DD. 5 reverse grip push-ups without EC. Did them with dumbbells and way too sloppy form to count for EC. This variation is... frustrating and awkward, not helped by requiring the hands planted below waist rather than shoulders. Always felt like I'm going to face-plant and psyche myself out. :/
Second, 2′ Warmup Workout.
Third, Day 4 of my GTP. Today’s workout was “Muscle Factory Lowerbody“, for lower-body strength, done with 10 lbs weights per arm (except I did the goblet squats with 15 lbs on the bar). I looked at this going, "Looks like the calf raises, single leg deadlifts, and the wall-sit will be the easy parts."
I was only right about one of those (calf raises.) I think the fact I did normal deadlifts yesterday meant my lower back was a bit stiff/sore - to add the balance work involved on one leg was quite the test.
I can normally sail through a 2' wall-sit when I have fresh quads and/or enough fucking sleep. That wasn't the case today. Wound up bracing with my arms for the last minute or so. The mat was also sliding away from wall precariously, too. Normally having something funny like Sanders Sides helps - but man I was running on fumes at that point. orz
Despite a tired back, I did get around to putting away my laundry after that.
-
Sept. 25
I got up proper at about noon, decided I needed a bit more rest for how sore I was and catch up on some sleep a bit.
After a bit of gaming, I got going with my exercise again.
First, today’s DD. 30 circle crunches with EC. This was fun and my abs felt that, but it was also a nice massage for some very sore trapezius muscles.
Second, Day 5 of my GTP. Today’s workout was “Ab on Fire“, as “casual training” done at Level 1 (no EC, wanted to keep things relatively chill). Ah yes, I forgot I picked a workout that required hollow holds - arguably the least favorite part. But I got through it. I did and do enjoy knee-to-elbow crunches!
Third, Classic Warmup Workout... okay, I slotted this AFTER the main workout. Mostly because I forgot to switch tabs, but still felt it was worth doing as a bit of cool-down. :,D
-
Sept. 26
Been up since a bit before 8AM.
Got to the facility, debated on whether to take a nap but decided I would spend the time leading up to WRAP Group drawing some more. Group went well enough, did debate on doing something crafty with the beads and strings in the art room.
But I decided to do the DD instead. 60 balance side swings with EC. This was a pretty fun and doable! :D
Spent a bit of time playing Solitaire, waiting for my ride. Got home a bit cranky about silly stuff, before spending some time with YouTube, playing games, and the rest of my exercise.
First, Quick Warmup Workout. I like all the warmup routines - but I like this one a lot for the half jacks. =w=
Last, Day 6 of my GTP. Today’s workout was “Ravager“, for overall strength, done at Level 1, with EC. I also mixed up alternating sides and doing things half/half throughout the workout. I definitely looked at this with hesitation due to being so sleep deprived and recklessly drinking too much coffee. So it took a bit of a willpower dig to get through that, but I managed well enough. Liked about half the exercises, too. :P
I spent the rest of my night fiddling with that art project a bit before getting to bed. Which was so needed at that point.
-
Sept. 27
I woke up a bit before noon.
I spent most of my day on the usual, including music binging (I was looking at LGBTQ+ artists and then looking at Middle Eastern Folk Metal bands... fun, if overstimulating.)
But I did get around to my exercise, if quite late.
First, today’s DD. 1′ squat hold with EC. This was pretty brutal, the last 10" being the worst. Pffft! :U
(After updating my DD log and whatnot...)
Second, Day 15 of the B&CP with Dad. A balance & coordination day, so it was pretty chill. We did use the wall  for assist and reps/counts instead of timing intervals.
Third, Classic Warmup Workout. I know, in some respects, doing that program would count a little bit.
Last, Day 7 of my GTP. I decided to do more old DDs with EC as “casual training”. As usual, I did make attempts at others but deemed I wasn’t up for EC’ing them just yet (therefore unrecorded).
December 14, 2015 - 4′ side splits. I warmed up with 50 half jacks, as recommended, which was DEFINITELY a good call. I think my depth was somewhere between A & B - it was pretty intense in my knees. Watching some SaSi was reasonably helpful and this is a fun exercise, but it did take some digging in to get through that last minute.
December 17, 2015 - 20 tricep extensions. Oooh boy, that was brutal. The first 10 or so was alright, but it took some willpower to keep the arms synchronized (up/down planks are easier, being driven by one side then the next, and almost did a couple reps like that).
January 5, 2016 - 3′ uppercuts, swapping sides at 1′30″. I counted 121 reps and oh MAN was that aerobic - because of all the squatting. Probably one of  the most intense kind of punch, but managing 40/minute was pretty satisfying.
January 19, 2016 - 1′ single arm plank, interpreting as the standard 30″/30″. It was a bit awkward keeping my timer on my computer, craning the neck to check where I was. And I did get to trembling there. But mission accomplished!
January 30, 2016 - 120 side leg raises (lateral decubitus; 60/60.) That really made some hip tendons burn good. I enjoyed it though! :D
February 12, 2016 - 40 dead bugs. I remember when coordination for these were tripping me up a lot. So it’s nice having the procedural memory down and I do consider it a favorite.
February 24, 2016 - 80 back leg knee strikes (40/40). This was a lot of fun - but then combat exercises are my bag. I was also starting to feel the accrued fatigue, at that point.
February 25, 2016 - 45″ single leg hops, I decided to double the time and do it with both legs. I counted 171 hops in total and oh that was tough and winding. The last 10″ or so per side meant heavy thuds to the ground due to calf fatigue - but I got through it.
I did 8 additional DDs for a reason - so I can hit a nice 1,300 total ECs (out of 1368 completed). \o/
---
I think this training plan was kind of a mixed bag - did pick workouts that had less-favored exercises in them, but it all was still worth doing!
With that, I'm set up for a week of the Fighter Training Plan, tomorrow!
(Aaand... I’m gonna post this now and try to wind down soon...)
