idk why i didn’t realize this sooner but if, as bioware says, turians value their history so much that each unit has a historian for chronicling their exploits, then bards and skalds are definitely, 100%, absolutely a Big Thing in turian culture and possibly even an option in the military, singing ballads and composing epics and so on and so forth about great heroes of the past and their (exaggeratedly, because it makes a better story) mighty deeds
