having Anthony get with an "older" woman makes so much sense to me tbh (Kate i believe is 26 during season 2), because usually when the young ladies of London debut, their ages range from around 17-18, the youngest you can possibly go I think is 15 (as seen in pride and prejudice).

with Anthony and Kate being older siblings that have had to worry about their younger siblings their entire life just makes sense to me because they relate on such a crucial level.
