I saw the tag regarding how Daishinji 'hurts' you on my ask regarding my relatability to him and Neon. I want to know more about that, how about it?

its been 70 years since i watched saber but uh lemme try...

Sometimes you don't need a reason to latch on to a character. But honestly, Daishinji is a quiet person and quiet people tend to suffer the most.

IDk when he cried like that...to see his emotions come out in such a tragic way, I just...

It's a glimpse into the maze of his mind, a labyrinthe set of walls he closed off to the people around him and only allows a select few with the keys to view it. But even then, deeper deeper within that maze not even his friends truly know him after all, you cannot be a mind reader.

But we are seeing those walls crack, water seeping through the walls and almost flooding his mind with emotions that was normally held back by dams and such.

It makes you want to repair those walls, but also tell him, "It's okay to let them crack and break just a bit." and just stay there, by those walls, waiting for the prince to come out of his tower on his own. You can coax him, gently, but it will take time.
