#this post brought 2 u by thinkin abt mawdryn undead in the context of 'actually the doctor is functionally immortal' TTC revelations #and then doing the maths and realising that if five had actually had to go thru with sacrificing those 8 regenerations to save nyssa n tegan #that would bring us to thirteen... i want to see THAT canon divergence #thirteen nyssa tegan and turlough in one TARDIS would be an incredible combination anyway #and like. a thirteen born out of a five that fully thought he was gonna go thru The Final Death for nyssa n tegan would most likely be #v different to the 13 we know for a million reasons. but like. can you IMAGINE #the drama!! the mystery!! the 'i'm definitely supposed to be Super Dead and i have No idea why i'm not' of it all!! #GOSH and actually tegan nyssa and turlough would be SUCH a thematically interesting bunch of companions to do a-- #timeless child themed storyline with... #fortunately for everyone bringing this concept to fruition would require far too much consumption of the DWEU on my part #and as it stands i still haven't gotten through the majority of classic who. so we are all safe from this particular tyranny of my brain #fel livebagels the space hobo show #(as always these days: not really but streamlining is important u kno)
