It boggles me that a lot of people write off “conspiracy theories” because they don’t think human beings are capable of deliberate evil
Like in the 20th century, government officials in communist countries “conspired” i.e worked together towards a common goal, and about 100 million people died as a result of this “conspiracy.” Thats 50x more than the holocaust killed, but again, genocide wouldn’t be possible without people conspiring together, usually in secret. And I’m pretty sure the anyone who spoke out against tyranny were shamed and silenced; maybe even written off as insane.
In the 1960’s, members of the FBI conspired against Martin Luther King.
And as for individual evil: just look up Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy or any number of whackos who killed and even ate parts of other human beings, while appearing completely normal, maybe even “charming.”
It’s obvious that people are capable of evil. A group of people are capable of appearing to have your best interests at heart, while working against you behind your back. Evil exists, and evil people gravitate towards each other, as well as positions of power. Refusing to even consider this fact when constructing your paradigm of reality only makes it easy for these evil people to accomplish their ends.
That’s why they go to such great lengths to program people into shutting down when they hear the word “conspiracy,” or any narrative besides the one considered mainstream. Some theories are batshit crazy and have no basis in reality, but many are true and worth looking onto.
Tldr just because an idea makes you uncomfortable doesn’t mean it’s untrue. and just because some guy on tv wearing a suit Looks Pretty Smart and Seems Confident while he reads lines off a teleprompter doesn’t mean you should trust what he’s saying unconditionally
