I simply think the Young Wolf deserves to feel angry at the last line of the Chronicon.

Just writing this down so I can read it next week and laugh at my own clown face

Normally I dont like to teorize about the future of the stories Im into bc I enjoy them more when I dont have expectations and they get to surprise me (that's why I dont read other people's predictions neither, so maybe none of this is that revolutionary, idk) Anyway, I was here brainrotting about how Stede and Ed are going to fix this conflict about their life goals and find a middle ground where they both can be happy, and then I had a revelation and I just cant unthink it.

First, I realised Ed doesnt really want to be an innkeeper nor a fisherman. He loves the sea and I'd even say he loves being a pirate, he just wants to get rid of the Blackbeard persona and, being the extremist he is, assumes the only way to do it is becoming the exact opposite thing (a boring guy at land). The truth is he'd probably got bored really soon. He wants drama and life and adventure.

As soon as this came to my mind, a lot of other stuff just started to resonate. Like, the historical fact of both of them dying in 1718, they mentioning that early scheme of killing Stede and steal his identity, the colective inner fear of Izzy dying next week + he becoming the main shipper this season, Taika shaving his head irl ("the fake heads idea wasn't bad"), Stede, Ed and Zheng chilling in the bts video.

SO, my bet is that Izzy is going to die, but he will do it while passing as Blackbeard, so Ed and Stede can fake their deaths (Stede had so much fun doing it the first time) and start all over and reset, just like they were planning to do last season. They can even go to fucking China too, since they're buddies with the Queen and she will need to hire a new crew due to catastrophic circuntances.

I realise too that this would mean not cliffhanger and overlooking a lot of other stuff that need to be adressed and resolve, but hey, a girl can dream.
