Did a show last night at the legendary Squire in Denver, on Colfax Avenue (which Playboy once called “the longest, wickedest street in America”- I️ can’t speak to the wickedness, but it’s almost fifty miles long). The Squire is known for, at one time, having the roughest open mic in the country. It wasn’t like that at all last night, but in the top right corner you can see the huge, loud fan that came on during my set, and made sound like I️ was performing underneath a hovering helicopter. Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far.
We're a Berlin based Italian photo duo. partners in work and life, we love to work with fashion, portraits and art projects.
What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field?
We would love to show our work to more and more people. we're now working on a photo book project.
How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
Well I'd say we're pretty friendly and, when possible, we try to get as close as we can to our clients requests
If you had to do it over again, what would you change?
I think we would both try much more to put the accent on our homeland, Sardinia. It has so much potential! But hey, it's not to late.
Who is your hero, and how have they helped you get to where you are?
I wouldn't talk about heroes. I would talk about inspirations. Lately we're re-discovering the Italian heritage more and more. I'm thinking about great regressors from the past, everything was so inspiring and experimental.
How important are creative education courses? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful?
We both took creative courses and we would suggest to anyone who wants to start: even if you wanna be extremely experimental, underground, etc, you need a base. you need to know the past.
