What ur top 5 gintama ship ?!
Oh man, oh man, top 5? If it's a Gintoki ship I'm basically in regardless of pairing unless its [redacted] lolol but here's a list of faves,
Mob!Character/Gin
2) Saka/Gin
3) Zura/Gin
4) Hiji/Gin
5) Utsu/Gin
I ranked them in order of which fic I'd open first if it had this ship tagged, vs how easy and enjoyable I'd find it to write.
I did debate about #5 and really if it came down to UtsuGin vs OT3s (GinHijiZura, SakaGinZura). I'd probably read/write the UtsuGin first just because it's simpler and there's a very specific dynamic within the OT3s (or even an OT4 if we wanna throw everyone in there) that I enjoy which is a little complicated.
But also... I don't really sort my fics via ship and usually I struggle to PICK a ship when I'm writing (if I even remember to make it shipped and then usually I end up picking Hijikata for simplicity reasons) because it's less about the pairing and more about the trope for me. Like if Gintoki isn't in that / pairing or isnt the first character listed then I'm not opening the fic. But sometimes I don't even read the tags I just open it if Gintoki's involved (typical, have gotten into some trouble doing this, InfiniteInMystery does not advise not reading tags before opening things in any fandom).
Listen. I'm desperate. I don't care. I will eat it if its Gintoki-centric okay, everything else is just flavours!!! It's like chips, I like all chip flavours, love a few more than is healthy, and there's that one that's just pretty damn mid and I need to be in the mood for it asfdjkhgjksdgf
Thanks for the ask! I just love Gintoki, he can be loved and hated by everyone and I'll be happy!

Happy Birthday Ruby!
Happy birthday to wooby! I love this small child and she deserves everything in the world.
Ruby stared at herself in the mirror. Her clothes were all bright colors which suited the small girl. She was going to meet up with Yoshiko and Hanamaru that day. It was going to be a great birthday outing. Minutes later, Ruby reached the station. She glanced around and found the brunette with the strange blue haired girl. “Yoshiko! Hanamaru!” “Ah Ruby!” both girls say at once. “So where are we going?” Ruby begins to scroll through her phone. “I’m thinking a cafe or maybe the arcade?” “Arcade?!” Hanamaru jumps. “Zuramaru, its not that special.” “Yes it is! Its the future, zura!” Ruby continues to watch her two friends bickering with a smile. It was small moments like these where she appreciates them. “I think we should go here,” Ruby shows the two girls her phone. The screen showed a small park with a cafe nearby. “Yeah! We could go to the cafe then the park, zura.” “Its your birthday though so you can choose,” Yoshiko says. The trio boarded the train and sat down. They aimlessly talk about school idols or some strange concept Yoshiko has. “The fallen angel Yohane wants to bring up the guard of Hell’s gate!” “Y-Yoshiko I don’t think thats a good idea,” Ruby mutters. “If you want a dog just say so,” Hanamaru grins. “Of course its a great idea! Cerberus isn’t just ANY dog, Cerberus is the hellhound that guards the gates!” “Do you understand what shes saying?” Ruby whispers. “Maybe?” They arrive at the park without any problems (unless you count Yoshiko’s moments). The park is quite large and has lush green grass lined with bushes. Multiple trees have been planted around the area and some of the leaves are beginning to brown. A large blue lake was shining nearby. “The cafe should be around here right?” Ruby asks.
“Down the street, its called The Roasted Bean,” Hanamaru points down the street. “Sounds pretty modern,” Yoshiko adds. “The reviews were pretty good!” They walk down the street and arrive at the small corner cafe. Once they open the door, they are hit with the fragrant smell of coffee. Theres multiple tables that have been polished to the point where its shining. The worker at the register greets them with a smile. “Hey! Welcome to The Roasted Bean. How can I help ya?” “I-I’ll have a…” Ruby stares at the menu. She isn’t very good at talking to people but wishes she could get better. Ruby slaps her face with both her hands,”I-I’ll have a milk tea please!” The worker smiles,”Sure! What about you two?” “I’ll have a milk tea too.” “Yohane must request of the blackest coffee you have,” Yoshiko grins with her hand in front of her face. “A-Alright, so, two milk teas and an extremely bitter coffee.” “Yep,” Hanamaru smiles back at the worker. “Anything else?” “No, thank you!” The trio sit down at a booth near the window. Ruby gazed at the people walking by. There were so many different types of people. Some are going off to work, some are students, and there was even a girl chasing a dog. “Hey Ruby, we want this birthday to be special, zura.” “So… we got you this!” Yoshiko hands Ruby a box. It was neatly wrapped in pink paper and topped with a purple ribbon. There was a little card that on the top. Ruby grabbed the card and began to read it out loud. “To Ruby, our best friend. From, Yoshiko and Maru.” There were little doodles all over it ranging from the three of them to their symbols. “You gotta open the box, zura!”
Ruby unwrapped the paper and opened the box. Inside was two handmade bears. One was obviously more carefully stitched than the other. “Zuramaru made the messier one,” Yoshiko said. “I’m bad with needles, zura.” “I kinda expected Yoshiko to be the one who's worse at sewing.” “I’ve gotta make my clothes myself,” Yoshiko smirked. A waiter came by and dropped off their drinks. “Anything else I can do for you ladies?” “N-Nothing else. Thank you!” Ruby stammered. “Wait!” The worker was already walking back when Yoshiko yelled,”Its her birthday!” “Oh is it?” “Y-Yeah…” “Happy birthday! Let me know which cake you want and I’ll get it for you.” “Thanks…” Ruby sat awkwardly as the worker walked away. Yoshiko was laughing and Hanamaru just sat there. “God we gotta start singing now!” “Not in a public place!” Ruby said. “Its funnier that way!” “Happy birthday to you~ Happy Birthday to you~ Happy birthday dear Ruby. Happy birthday to you!” Yoshiko laughed as the red haired girl’s face flushed. “When we finish lets just go to the park.” Ruby ordered her cake once they finished their drinks. The cake was a slice with a strawberry on top. Ruby loved chocolate cake. She took a bite and was amazed. “Yoshiko, Maru, try this!” She gave both girls a bite of the cake. “Wow, thats good, zura!” “As expect of a cafe a fallen angel chooses.” The trio left and walked back to the park. It was nearly sunset and the scenery before them was stunning. The blue water had turned slightly orange as it reflected the light making it shine. “Ruby, happy birthday,” both girls said. “Thank you, so much.” Ruby believed this was the best birthday she will ever have.
