#there is a reason why modern album covers have a certain look #its cause you see like 2 square cm of an album #cover on your phone or whatever. youre not holding a foot long vinyl anymore #thats not saying new covers are bad theres plenty of great ones but a lot of them just are really different from older ones #they dont have sick double albums that open up like a book anymore! #theres no cool cd booklets! the back cover is a foreign concept!! #like yes people make cds and vinyls now but they are really an afterthought yknow? #sigh. we will never have a buffalo springfield back cover again if the music industry stays online. #they dont know about the peelable velvet underground banana. the zippable rolling stones pants #music #this isnt really about anything in particular im just thinking about the music industry today
