I'm missing the last 2-3 eps of sex education but I've already watched all the adam groff bits and I don't think I care enough about the rest to finish it

#I mean maybe at some point #there was so little adam groff in this series it was disappointing #but at least they gave him a satisfying enough story arc #and I'm happy he got some closure with eric it looked like they weren't going to talk ever again #they picked some boring storylines for s4 though #I didn't give a fuck about otis's beef with that teen 'sex therapist'. which is a shame because asa is a good actor #I only cared about adam. and maybe aimee and isaac #I think the ideal length for a series is 3 seasons #3 acts. that's all you need. if you plot it right #sex education

Sex Education season 2 (Series)

Okay so let's start my reaction to Sex Education 2 with:

I was very excited when it went live, unfortunately was spoiled about Rahim's scenes before I could finally watch it.

Now after Season 1, i was on the fence with Adam and Eric. I do see their thing, but it being bully x bullied once again, i grew tired of it already.

I knew Ola was not gonna stay much longer as Otis' partner because I get different vibes from her. Lily being Ola's girlfriend is a surprise altogether, but I was spoiled by it prior to watching the show.

Now Rahim, Rahim is fucking hot omfg. His voice, his movement and mannerism is just super sexy. He was confident, straight to the point and was just being himself. The way he observed Eric to figure out if he's gay, to the way he just inserted himself in Eric's life was just grand.

Now let's talk about the show in general.

I personally think that the show got boring around episode 5 maybe 4. I found myself not having that urgency to finish it around that time, and I'm not sure who to blame.

Otis' issues are there, Ola got hers sorted, Maeve's issue got more complicated because of fucking Isaac. Right at the first time this dude showed up, I knew he's gonna be one of those guys.

Now let's deal the hets first.

Otis and Maeve is now under this plot that I've seen multiple times. If ever season 3 will happen, I can see it being most of them going back and forth because of isaac, and the maybe final episode be them reconciling and then happily ever after.

It's boring. Isaac's thing with Maeve is annoying. Otis finally started working on his issue, but now he has to deal with Isaac as well on top of being on his own now (Eric has Adam, and then Ola has Lily.)

Jean and Yakov's relationship is a whole nother issue, but I think this one will be solve fairly quickly since there's not really much there to deal with. Jean being pregnant, I wonder if they'll have her abort the child, have it be adopted, or keep it. I can guarantee you tho that this will pile on top of Otis' issue.

Otis and Jean also needs to work on their relationship after this because I refuse to believe it will be solved just like that.

Isaac is annoying and honestly cannot even spare anymore brain energy for him.

THE PRINCIPAL GROFF, he's finally having what he deserves. He had ruined multiple fucking lives just because he's a man child. Nope, off with his head I tell ya.

Mrs. Groff and Adam, they both still clearly love the principal, and it breaks my heart. But seeing Maureen happy finally, it was all worth it. I hope she lives her best life now.

Adam better not mess it up.

NOW let's deal with the gays.

Okay I want to be clear first. Is Adam really supposed to be bisexual? I might have to rewatch the first season, but I really thought he couldn't get it up for women? Isn't that the point why he used viagra in the first place?

Because if he's not actually bisexual, are we dealing with yet again gay panic 2.0 from the same person?

Eric, oh boy Eric. You let go of Rahim for Adam.

Rahim's last words was really great. Rahim may not know Adam the way Eric do, but at the same time, Eric has not yet completely pulled off the rose colored glasses for Adam.

I honestly just decided to watch season 2 for Eric because I'm curious who the new man is, and how his storyline would end with Adam getting back, but I was honestly just disappointed.

I think at this point the future season 3 would end up having Adam dealing with his pda issues, and being open, and any homophobia he has left in his body. His storyline would end up being like Ander's from Elite and honestly just thinking about it exhausts me.

Nope, not here for that drama.

Eric will end up being the emotional soundboard and guru of Adam or he will just end up second guessing his decision and thinking if Rahim was right.

Either way, it's gonna be sad gay/bisexual times.

On a better note, Ola and Lily got together so quick with just little gay panic from Lily. It was actually one of the best storylines in season 2.

I wanna say clearly that I do not know if season 3 is gonna happen. Me speculating about it doesn't mean there's gonna be one.

This post may have had too many negative stuff in it, so let's highlight the great ones.

THE SHOW DEALING WITH ASEXUALITY. THE SHOW DEALING WITH SEXUAL HARASSMENT omfg this storyline was fucking great and how every girls in the end supported her, like yess pleaseeeeee. THE SHOW'S STORYLINE FOR OLA AND LILY. THE SHOW SHOWING JACKSON AND VIV'S FRIENDSHIP LIKE YES

WIth that, just wanna say that Sex Ed had been one of the greatest season 1 that i've ever seen, so it's a bit sad that I would probably not be tuning in if Season 3 became a thing. At this point I just crave more from shows now. If Season 3 talked about actual sex education more then I might give it a try, but for now it's probably not gonna happen.
