daughter of yatagarasu ( 八咫烏 ) , shinto god of guidance .

long  ago  ,  kamotaketsunumi - no - mikoto  ,  the  personification  of  the  sun ,  was  sent  from  the  heavens  to  help  the  jinmu , first  emperor  of  japan  .  after  kamotaketsunumi  landed  on  earth  ,  he  transformed  into  the  yatagarasu  the crow .  from  there  ,  he  asked  the  emperor's  brothers  to  return  to  him  ,  then  yatagarasu  led  the  emperor  and  his  party  out  of  the  mountains  ,  so  that  the emperor  could  establish  his  center  of  power  in  yamato  and  begin  the  lineage  of  the  imperial  family  of  japan  . yatagarasu is frequently portrayed with three legs ( most commonly believed to represent the connection between heaven , earth , and humanity ) , though in the oldest texts referring to him , there is no mention this . suzume  has  spent  years  in  japan's  royal  court  ,  learning  from  her  fellow  advisors  and  the  late  emperor  and  empress  ,  all  leading  up  to  the  moment  her cousin  ascended  to  the  throne  .  and  though  she  remains  uncertain  ,  in  this  time  of  change  and  metamorphosis  ,  suzume  is  meant  to  pilot  kaito  in  the  right  direction  ,  much  in  the  same  way  yatagarasu  did  jinmu .

known  for  his  kindness  ,  beauty  ,  and  wisdom  ,  so  virtuous  that  he  radiated  light  ,  baldr  was  beloved  by  all  in  asgard  .  after  a  dream  that  his  life  was  in  danger  ,  baldr's  mother  ,  frigg  ,  demanded  an  oath  from  every  creature  ,  plant  ,  and  object  that  they  would  not  harm  her  son  .  the  other  gods  would  amuse  themselves  by  throwing  weapons  at  baldr  ,  which  would  bounce  harmlessly  off  of  him  ,  until  one  day  ,  when  he  was  struck  by  an  arrow  made  with  mistletoe  ,  the only one who frigg did not command not to hurt baldr  .  his  demise  was  considered  one  of  the  earliest  harbingers  of  ragnarök  . hugo  embodies  many  of  the  same  qualities  as  his  godly  parent  .  even  if  he  might  feel  helpless  ,  he's  always been able  to  charm  his  way  out  of  things ,  or  use  a  rudimentary  skill  to  make  the  outcome  more  successful  .  that  isn't  to  say  he  has  no  weaknesses  ,  however , and  the fact that he chooses  not  acknowledge  that more often than not will  one  day  be  his  downfall  .

serket  existed  as  a  duality  of  sorts  ;  her  name  can  be  interpreted  as  meaning  "  (  she  who  )  tightens  the  throat  "  or  "  (  she  who  )  causes  the  throat  to  breathe  .  "  combined  with  her  representation  in the form of  the  scorpion  ,  serket  was  ,  in  a  sense  ,  a  poison  and  antidote  ,  an  inflictor  and  protector  .  early  egyptian sovereigns  revered  serket  ,  calling  her  their  patron  .  she  was  also  considered  a  guardian  of  the  dead  ,  and  previously  associated  with  embalming  in  the  mummification  process  before the four sons of horus emerged . isra  ,  too  ,  exists  in  polarity  .  trained  up  to  be  an  informant  and  living  weapon  as  part  of  egypt's  network  of  spies  ,  yet  equally  capable  of  compassion  and  gentleness  ,  which  she's  beginning  to  discover  .  her godly parent's  primary  association  also  calls  back  to  isra's  modus  operandi  ,  and  vast  knowledge  of  poisons  . also serket's father is either set or khnum , the latter of which is associated with the ram , and a sheep is the animal i associate with isra for some reason jadklfj

son of enyo ( ἐνυώ ) , greek goddess of war .

a  comrade  of  the  warmonger  ares  ,  and  distinct  from  strategic  athena  ,  enyo  herself  was  said  to  be  "  supreme  at  war  .  "  she  facilitated  the  destruction  of  cities  ,  and  because  she  delighted  in  combat  ,  participated  in  many  wars  ,  such  as  the  war  of  the  seven  of  thebes  ,  and  the  fall  of  troy  .  on  occasion  ,  she  took  a  neutral  stance  in  the  face  of  conflict  ,  if  only  to  see  the  fighting  continue  ,  as  seen  in  a  battle  between  zeus  and  typhon  .  enyo  also  appeared  on  the  shield  of  achilles  .  in  some  texts  ,  she  was  conflated  with  eris  ,  the  goddess  of  discord  and  strife  ,  who  instigated  the  judgment  of  paris  ,  leading  to  the  trojan  war  .  notably  ,  eris  sided  with  typhon  in  the  previously  mentioned  conflict  with  zeus  . there's  something  to  be  said  about  how  sylvain  and  his  godly  parent  both  exist  in  the  shadow  of  another  (  sylvain  in  achillas'  ,  enyo  in  ares'  )  ,  but  are  worthy  of  note  in  their  own  right  .  he's  also  ,�� fittingly  ,  a  soldier  ,  probably  the  most  appropriate  occupation  for  a  son  of  the  goddess  of  war  .  and  , in  the  case  of  the  combined  enyo  -  eris  ,  sylvain  thrives  in  chaos  ,  much  like  eris  did  .  he  doesn't  necessarily  set  out  to  cause  strife  ,  but  it's existence  does  make  finding opportunities  in  his  favor  that much easier  .
