I kind of enjoy the theory that the Terrans run on Unicron juice, considering the aligned continuity has the whole "earth is unicron" thing, but something pokes a hole in that, which is that earthspark is mainly a g1 based continuity where Unicron is a separate body like in the '86 movie, even if both universes do share the Cybertron/primus equivalence. You could probably point to the fact that quintus prime and the lore behind the original 13 was only established in Aligned and use that to justify the dark energon theory but I think it has more to do with quintus prime and his emberstone than with Unicron. I bet that's emberstone juice in that cave and not dark energon
