The Challenge - A Lawlight Fanfiction

Hello lovelies! I have taken my previous 'fever fic' and have started editing and updating it. There won't be any grand changes to the plot, but the story will be overall more readable - and I made a pretty picture for the cover.

(If you're thinking- hey Winter, it's literally just coloured fire - I will respond with - fight me, it took me so effin long - I suffer graphically, mkay?)

Summary:

Head Cannon Light: Two years ago, I married my best friend. Light: Misa is still mad about it, but me and L were drunk and thought it was funny.

This fic takes place over several years. From L and Light meeting while Light was in high school to them growing into actual full fledged adults. Together, Light and L play a lifelong game of challenges. From fire shots to general public humiliation, they deal with their life by being the smartest idiots.

Though it does deal with bigger subject matter such as mental health, internalized homophobia, referenced suicide attempt, and referenced violence - it is one of the lighter works I've written. Dare I say, it may almost be a comedy!

Dare I? I dunno, I hope you guys think it's funny.

Last night on the challenge: Ride or Dies episode 2 was another wild drama night

It was another endurance water challenge called "Balancing Act" with lots of swimming 🏊‍♂️ and climbing, swinging on ropes during that daily challenge where TJ share a surprise with all of the challengers saying AM WAITING FOR THE FINAL TEAM 🙄 then all of sudden Kaycee & her brother Kenny came out where everyone was happy to see them 😉

Then after the daily challenge was done and found out who won the competition which was Johnny Bananas & Nany where some teams were worry who they were gonna nominated for eliminated 🤔

They nominated these teams of 2 rookie rookie pairs of: Horacio & Olivia, Johnny & Ravyn, Turbo & Tamara then Michele & Jay where Michele was shocked because she thought her good sister of a friendship with Nany would not nominated her but because Johnny Bananas doesn't trust Jay they put them in with the other rookie rookie pairs since he's working with them while Michele is working with the vets, so when it came to the draw during the elimination part it came down to Jay and Michele to pick which of the two rookie rookie teams to save and Jay say his word means the world to him and when he says that to someone he keeps it so he ended up choosing Johnny & Ravyn

Then it was between Turbo & Tamara vs Horacio & Olivia for elimination where it was a memory puzzle and thankfully Horacio & Olivia won 🙂🙂🙂💪💪💪💪

Thanks to Angelcake Entertainment on YouTube so I can watch the recap of each episode of this season of the challenge: battle for a new champion Since I haven't been able to watch the episodes due to not having cable TV so yeah

Really dislike how on Wednesday episode and possibly getting rude comments/messages about Jay Starrett alliance he has on this season along with his ride or died partner Michelle who seems to be getting irritated especially when she was speaking with Horacio at the bar scene of Wednesday episode and it just feels the house is starting to become divided of which alliance is going to survive to the run in the finale challenge.

Please stop given Jay Starrett @jay_Qs negative messages & comments because he doesn't deserve that and he said it perfectly on the challenge; it's not about how many elimination you wins, it's about getting to the final to win the challenge and if you have to backstab people to get you far in the challenge house then so be but all this negative on Jay & Michele is so not fair & wishing this world would have more world peace and not to start arguments, flights because of someone opinions & comments

I will always support you Jay & Michele because you both deserve to get to an final on the challenge

Felt bad for Jay losing his number 1 houseguest of Asaf who CT choose chaos which means he can pick any participants who didn't win the daily challenge and he choose to go against Asaf who's only been on one season of the challenge and hopefully he can be on more seasons of the challenge because he's a good challenger and plays well with others. Sorry you went home Asaf

Personally think that everyone deserves an chance to get to the finals so why hate on Jay and his alliance just dont get it why people always have to judge others then constantly vote them in to elimination and I think next week episode is gonna be full of drama with sadness

Poor Jay of him losing his number 1 houseguest in this season of the challenge 😪😪😪😪😪 Hopefully he doesn't get vote in on the next guys day of elimination and let's be positive & STAYLOCO and will always be rooting for you.
