My husband and I love to watch shows about animals or nature, especially on the weekends. Veterinarian shows are our go to to have on while writing or other jobs that we need the visual distraction to rest our eyes on when looking up.
Somehow weekends have become weekdays. Today we were watching zoo shows or one about elephants. The thing I do remember was it was on National Geographic. Suddenly…
don’t know how I’m supposed to be okay after hearing ‘staring at the setting sun, no reason to come back again’ & ‘i don't want to feel this way forever’ live ???

Welcome friends, to a new series and crossover event of a lifetime:
🎭Redacted Theater Kid Thursdays🎭
(Ok, it’s Friday, but I meant to post this yesterday, and Thursday just sounds better, shhh don’t worry about it)
Back in October @autisticempathydaemon created Redacted-tober, and for that, I assigned songs to the boys and sang covers of them. I had so much fun doing that, that I decided to do it again. But this time I’m focusing specifically on musical theater songs, in an attempt to both shine a light on some of my favorite musicals, and combine my interests in a big cringey self-indulgent stew bc it’s my blog and it brings me joy.
To start us off is an OBVIOUS first choice in my eyes
GUY - AGONY from INTO THE WOODS
For those of you who’ve seen my theater kid Guy headcanons, you’ll get it. I’m firmly in the “Guy was a theater kid” camp, and in my head at least, he played Cinderella’s Prince in Into The Woods his senior year of high school and KILLED IT.
So of course I had to sing Agony as a duet with myself. What choice did I have??
Look forward to more musical theater songs for Redacted characters based entirely on Vibes™️ in the future, hope you enjoy
i’ve never gone to the movies alone but i have nothing to do tonight and i really want to see bottoms….. give me the courage and strength i need to see rachel sennott on the big screen
guardians 3 is so good, it’s messy and there’s a lot of characters but it’s honestly the best mcu movie i’ve seen for a while.
i LIKED Eternals. i saw that twice in theaters, i LIKED how weird and dumb and convoluted it was. it didn’t affect me that much.
Quantumania was disappointing, i wanted it to be weirder.
Guardians is weird. it starts and just keeps going. Cosmo the dog says captain with a K, the new ship is disgustingly large and weird. Groot surprises me in almost every scene, i love how dumb he looks, i love his dumb smile.
Chris Pratt looks hot in this movie. idk. he just is. is it the hair?? James Gunn???
the High Evolutionary is unapologetically awful. he’s an abusive parent, he’s high and mighty, he’s obsessive, he’s irredeemable, he’s CAMP. the prosthetics department did AMAZING work, and the REVEAL???? disgusting. 🤮
and unfortunately i have to admit that it got me. i cried. i fucking cried bc they fucking played FLORENCE. FLORENCE + THE MACHINE. i’m weak and they got me.
god, if only the mcu didn’t fuck up Gamora’s story, but they did what they could with what they had.
Self care is hearing that there’s a 2004 Ryan Gosling movie you haven’t seen that’s playing in the theaters only today and only at 2pm, and you decide you deserve to have a good time and you should see it, because you’re kind of latching onto Ryan’s characters for dear life rn, but you have to work at 4:30pm — HOWEVER you can make it to the movie if you put on your uniform and book it to work right after the movie ends!!!! So you get dressed looking like a snack in your black pants, treat yourself to a slushie and go to the movies
