TG spoilers (rant)

Every time I see somebody saying Touka got reduced to Kaneki’s wife by the end of :re in the story I lose 100 braincells. If you believe her character got watered down just bc she fell in love and got married maybe that’s a you problem. Istg, she’ll receive lashings no matter what she does or how she acts, actually. When she has a quick temper and kicks ass, her haters say she’s mean and abusive (ah yes, misunderstanding and trivializing such a serious matter) and “but is she relevant to the PLOT outside of fighting?”. But when she goes through CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT bc, yk, she’s 20 not 17 anymore, learns to keep her composure and becomes more patient, and both actively leads groups and keeps the plot running w/ her relationships with MANY characters (while STILL REGULARLY PARTICIPATING IN COMBAT), they turn around and complain that she DOESN’T kick as much ass, is now more boring, is irrelevant bc of her slightly reduced screen time (absolutely no new characters were introduced in :re and you can only be relevant with fighting now) and her only purpose is being a housewife? Get a grip and PICK A SIDE
