FFXIVMixedMay: Family

Growing up, Baatu's only family was his mother, but nowadays he has a much larger family. Zansei Hansaku (owned to @midnightmagicks) is his loving "wife" and they have two adopted children: Hoshiko and Haruki. On top of that, Zansei's parents act truly like a new mother and father to him.

(I decided to sketch this since I had the picture pop into my mind of the family like this. It's really rough bc I didn't have much time, but I love them no matter what...)

(Here are two more pictures of their kids! I don't know if I showed them before, but have these extras! Hoshiko is the Raen girl on the left and Haruki is the Elezen baby on the right! :D)

FFXIVMixedMay: Introduction

Baatu Ardakium is a mixed Xaela Au Ra and Ishgardian Elezen. His father was Xaela and his mother is Ishgardian. He grew up in Ishgard and was discriminated greatly for being mixed, let alone Xaela. Growing up around such racism was difficult and honestly scary, but he prevailed through teenage anger and familial love. Today, he is proud of who he is!

Zetoichi Kinjou is a mixed Rava Viera and Hingan Hyur. He does not remember much of his past, thus he does not remember who his parents were. At a glance, it’s difficult to tell he is mixed, but there are some key features that he has missing compared to your average Viera. He knows little of his Viera roots and is more integrated with Hingan culture. He is proud of who he is regardless!

(I’m going to try to do this challenge with Baatu and Z, interchanging them when I want to lol. I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up every day, but I really wanted to celebrate my mixed race OCs! I am mixed and tend to create such characters!)
