just found out that a certain scene from a certain show affected me so much that I can recognize it from a single shot. the framing and whatnot is seared into my memory apparently, enough that I have an involuntary response to seeing it again. love that for me.

#it's not super bad or anything #just painful in the dramatic way that tv shows are supposed to be #but still #painful #especially getting jumpscared by it out of context somewhere I thought I was safe #this weird memory quirk of mine also half-spoiled *the* big reveal in psych #I saw a youtube thumbnail and then recognized the costume lighting and framing (in that order) when it came up in the episode #so I spent that entire scene on edge #and there's this (what felt) really long in-between section where he's at the bar and I was just overflowing with nerves #the anticipation was killing me #anywho #the game night scene at the end of supergirl season 4 is apparently a jumpscare to me #that's what prompted this in the first place lol #girlblogging
