I love your faith in me friend but it’s not so much a codified “Rae’s Scene Playlist” as it is me switching between like four different Spotify pop-punk playlists and putting the same half a dozen artists/albums I’ve been listening to for 10 years on shuffle 😅

#asks #the closest thing I have to a real scene/emo playlist is one I curated for a fic I’m half writing about early 00s bandom #which is set in like 06-10 so I have exclusively songs from before 2007 #I’ve always been really big on listening to albums so I only recently started listening to playlists that weren’t like #just movie soundtracks or ship/fic playlists made by other people #so when I’m feeling some emo nostalgia I’ll listen to like the entire mcr discography #some AFI (my beloved) #that one YMAS album #FOBs cork tree IOH and folie a deux #all time low’s first 2-3 albums #the four or five good mindless self indulgence songs that don’t make me cringe #sometimes I’ll listen to patd’s first three albums but I was so deep into them at one point that that has a whole different association tome #damn I know there’s more #there’s some onesy twosies in ther but that’s a lot of songs I got into from AMVs mostly but they slap #I’ll make a real playlist if you want
