every time i pick one of my sakura fic wips back up with the thought that THIS one will be a short one i can knock out in a few days i am proven so terribly wrong. i’ve got character study disease and it’s terminal.

#t #naruto time #at least with the war au and the funeral fic i have a rough idea for how long they’ll be but for THIS one i’m really not sure #i thought i could keep it under 5k buuuuuut i don’t think that’s happening #the first ‘half’ still isn’t done and it’s already 3k. guessing it’ll probably be ~5k when i have every scene fully written #and then i don’t have as clear a plan for the back ‘half’ (scare quotes b/c idk if it’ll actually be halfway in terms of word count but it’s #a turning point in the story) nor do i have anything written for it yet so it’s harder to gauge but i’d guess it’d also end up #about 5-6k. so somewhere in the 10-12k range total?
