Thalapathy Vijay decided to make his way into the Tollywood industry and teamed up with Director Vamshi Paidipally and Producer Dil Raju. Principal photography began in April 2022 in Chennai. The Film ‘Varisu’ aka ‘Vaarasudu’ will be released in Tamil, Telegu, and Hindi version in April 2023 in Chennai.

On 26 September 2021, Vijay’s 66th film as lead actor was announced with the working title Thalapathy 66. Paidipally said that the makers initially intended to announce the project early that year but had to postpone their plans due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The inaugural puja ceremony for the film’s shooting was held on 6 April 2022 in Chennai and was followed by the filming of the first schedule.

I’ve no language preferences actually. I’ll watch films in any language - tamil, hindi, telegu, malyalam, korean, assamese, silent films etc.

I love sci-fi, thriller and comedy.

I’ll watch a film if the summary or the trailer clicks with me or if it is a recommendation from friends and other communities I belong to.

I ignore most of the hyped up, masala, over the top movies and remakes now a days because most of them are just money making and not filmmaking.

Sometimes the movies I watch can be a bit slow and boring too. (as described by my mom)

But I love the movies I watch and I love rewatching them.

However, I wouldn’t watch those cringy, baseless movies which have no meaning and do not contribute anything to filmmaking. In the name of comedy and entertainment they take these fun watchable films and turn them into baseless franchises which are just for money and they don’t interest me.
