time to talk about my favorite point in snow au character dynamics:

literally like 75% of current problems in the plot would be solved if people stopped trying to make techno and wilbur live in the same house. like they get long perfectly fine otherwise, but you put them in a house together and the bitchy, argumentative, petty, purposefully hurtful energy is dialled up to 500

it’s mostly because they were teenagers at the same time which is a recipe for disaster

#things that grow in the snow au #they just can’t live together!!! it does not work!!! #before techno hit 13 they got along with minimal problems #but then he hit his teens and wil was like Guess I Have To End You #and techno Does Not take very kindly to that. wilbur is not the one (1) person who’s authority he respects. so he returned it all and more #most of the time it was just one of them being petty and the other pretending not to be bothered by ir #*it #techno age 14: wil poured salt in my coffee because he hates me but im going to drink it anyway because im petty and will never let him win #wilbur age 17: techno took all my pens and pencils and quills and buried them in a box in the garden but jokes on him i have a whole box of- #-replacements already. idiot #it would escalate into really hurtful arguments or violence sometimes but mostly it’s just them being annoying and petty children #(and then in the future it is So Much More 😔) #infodumping. like god intended
