So backstory to this is that my roommate and best friend got a beanbag the size of a bed and it was sitting in the middle of our apartment for a while. It was extremely comfortable and I would curl up to sleep in it, but because it was so big I’d sink into the center and people wouldn’t know where I was lol. It was nice though, cause The Bean was big enough to share!

It’s nice to snuggle with friends or siblings! I love how Rise wrote the brothers to be more physically affectionate

Knowledge comes from many places! Some of them… more respectable than others.

I too am cursed with a wide array of random facts because of one to many a research hole for very silly reasons. Wikipedia is the IKEA of the internet, I can’t help but get completely lost! Alas, history is not included in those facts, so grain of salt here lol

Donnie: His technical genius was far from the only thing he was famous for! Da Vinci’s contributions to both art and science through observation are his most lasting achievements.

Donnie: You still have trouble drawing horses right? Well, Leonardo did many studies of their anatomical structure to create a statue to rival even the great equine monuments of Donatello at the time.

Leo: Yeah, he never actually made the statue. The bronze all got melted into cannons in 1494. Michelangelo made fun of him for it.

Donnie: Wh- When have you ever cared about our namesakes?

Leo: ‘Cause- uh… “Da Vinky?”

Donnie: You defile all knowledge!

Mikey: Donnie wait! Don’t kill him yet!

Here’s an older one of Leo and Mikey! I drew this around when Rise first grabbed me into the hyper fixation hole.

I love the sibling dynamics of the show, seeing as I myself have three siblings! My immediate older brother and I used to play Portal 2 co-op all the time when we were younger, and after having seen the movie I thought that, among the turtles, the portal two were perfectly color coded lol

When you have many siblings, sometimes your stuff gets lost among the weeds

My oldest sister had a habit of busting down my door with no warning, ignoring me as she rummaged through my drawers, and taking clothes she’d misplaced for a couple of years lol. Thankfully, my siblings and I never fought over stuff, but there were a few things that just kind of floated around the house and could never be found when you needed it.

I always kept like five scissors in my desk, but alas, somehow they always ended up missing!

Hand-me-downs

When I was a kid, my oldest sister would give me any of the stuff she outgrew, or things she’d find around that she thought I might want. Of course, I’d never refuse a gift from her, but dang did my shelves get just a little bit cluttered! Most stuff I had passed hands a bunch of times

Such is the fate of the youngest of four!

Makin robots and the portal duo! This was the full page of the original comic

These are both based on memories of me and my older brother! We loved playing games and building Legos together, and we were both in a junior robotics team once upon a time. I died a lot, even in co-op games lol

My brother was much better at coding and building than I was, but he did let me put googly eyes on all our robots, so I like to think it was a group effort!

Mikey: Can I help you build it?

Donnie: Why not? I can’t bar science from a curious mind.

Mikey: Can we put a Jupiter Jim inside?

Donnie: It’s a scout bot, I need that space to hold the CPU.

Mikey: Can it have moon buggy wheels then?

Donnie: Those don’t have enough traction. The treads will keep it from falling into the sewer pipes.

Mikey: Um- Oh! What about arms? So it can move stuff out of the way?

Donnie: Hnn- No rotors strong enough for that, I’m afraid. These materials are pretty subpar.

Mikey: …

Donnie: There! Now, to set the camera…

Mikey: pfft- I thought you said I could help.

Donnie: What? You are helping.

Mikey: Then why aren’t you letting me add anything?

Donnie: Idea! I know how you could contribute!

Donnie: It needs some warning patterns, for safety purposes.
