Okay, before Season 2 comes out, here is my Heartstopper confession: when I first started watching the show, I thought that Tao and Elle were already dating and were going to slowly drift apart, and that Elle was going to go out with Tara or Darcy. It starting seeming off when Tao talked about their friendship and it clicked when Elle had her realisation moment.
