Introduce Myself.                                                                     Date: 8th 04, 18

 Hello Tania, 

I am Domenic, I was born in south Italy and in 1968 I come to Australia. In those days to get work not need to have any form of diploma, therefore I didn’t go to school to learning to read and write. My first job was Machine’s Operator, the machine I was working had only three press buttons, one to lock the piece in position. One to start and one to stop the machine while was process if something was going wrong, the machine was automatically stopped itself when the process was finish.

Eighteen Months late I started to work as a Painter and Decorator that I become first class painter. In two occasions I been sent to London to paint two houses that when I realised I was one of the best painter in Melbourne. Along the way I meet a girl and within six months we were married and had three children one girl and two boys. Today we are blessed with eight grandchildren five boys and three girls.  

In 2004, due by hard work my shoulders let go and I had to have surgery in both shoulders that made me to stop carrying on with my painting business. Therefore to keep myself active the only thing that comes in my mind was to go to school to learning to write and read English. My first English class was at Belvedere Community Centre Seaford in 2008. After that, in 2011, I started studying at Frankston Chisholm and gained Cert. II and III in ESL and also Cert. II and III GEA. Also I studied at Dandenong Chisholm Cert. III, Cert. IV EAL and EAL cert. IV Further Studying.

In 2016, I did a short train course for volunteer to help new arrived student at AMES Australia before it closed their doors. Then I went back to continue studying General English at Moorabbin Holmesglen. Now present I am doing a computer course back at Frankston Chisholm that I am enjoying do it. Hope I will be able to continue to next level when I finish this course.
