A Return Worth Celebrating (Fridolina Rolfo x reader)
Tumblr media
A/N: Here’s a little something to celebrate Frido’s return to team training!
Monday’s had the reputation of being terrible but not this Monday. No, today was a good day. Today was the day that Fridolina Rolfö, your girlfriend, returned to team training.
“You ready?” You ask as you walk out onto the field together.
“As I’ll ever be” the blonde wore a smile on her face but you knew deep down that she was nervous. The two of you had spent the night previous cuddled in bed discussing what the blonde was feeling and why she was feeling it.
Before you reach the group you wrap your arm around her waist, pulling her close as you place a gentle kiss on her hairline.
“You’ve got this. You are strong and you are powerful”
“What? I’m not beautiful today?” Fridolina knows the mantra well, you had made her say it to herself whenever she was having a bad day.
“You, Miss Rolfö, will always be beautiful in my eyes. Now let’s get going. I’ve haven’t been late once this season and I won’t have you tarnishing my impeccable record” you jog off towards your team mates.
“Right because I’m the bad influence out the two of us” the swede says sarcastically. Everyone knew it was you who corrupted her.
The session goes better than Frido expected. Her passes were accurate, her movement fluid and much to her surprise her fitness wasn’t far off from where it was before. It did come as a shock to find your cubby empty as she entered the locker room. She assumed you had gone for a shower until she saw a note sitting in her locker.
I had to go. See you at home.
I love you, always.
Y/N.
“What no celebrations for your return?” Ingrid asks.
“Looks like she had a meeting or something. We discussed our schedules on Friday and she didn’t mention anything. It must be something last minute” Frido defended your actions even if they had hurt her.
She had been so excited to be back on the pitch for numerous reasons but being able to play with you again was top of that list. You seemed so happy for her this morning and she automatically assumed you would do something together to celebrate.
Little did she know you did have plans to celebrate. Your celebrations were a little bit more intimate than what was planned with the team.
As on queue, Frido walks into your shared apartment just as you finish setting the table.
When the blonde walked through the hallway she smelt home, more specifically a home cooked meal. Then, as she turned the corner, she saw you standing next to the candle light table.
“Baby, i’m so proud of you”
She was rendered speechless.
“Say something, please” you ask politely.
She says nothing. She lets her actions do the talking and you don’t complain at all. You loved moments like this when it was just the two of you. When you could express your love with kisses and other displays of affection.
“Is that my —“
“Kött” you pull away from her hold to read the name of the meal of your hand “Köttbullar”
Frido pulled your hand towards her to see if you had really written down the name of the meal. Lo and behold, you had.
“I think I did it right. I was this close” you pinch your thumb and index thumb very close together “to going to Ikea and buying some”
You follow to the take and pull the chair out for her.
“For you, m’lady”
“Why thank you” she kisses your cheek as a show of appreciation.
You watch nervously as she takes a bite of the meatball. It mimicked the nervous energy you feel as you watch a team mate take a penalty. She takes her time and it feels like she chews it 100 times before giving any indication of whether it’s good or not.
“5 stars” Frido does a little happy dance in her seat “who knew this is what you were preparing for when you ate my Mamma’s Köttbullar by the bucket full”
“It was all apart of my master plan” you raise your eyebrows playfully.
“Is that right? What else does this master plan entail?” Frido asks curiously.
“Stick around and you’ll find out”
You had a lot planned for you and Fridolina. Some things had been ticked off, some were in motion and others were due in the future.

Could you write a blurb for a swedish player? I don't really mind for who. I'm just very sad😭
Ain’t your fault - Magdalen eriksson
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“oh baby, I’m so sorry”I apologised, Magda coming into view in front of me, the barrier being the only thing stopping us from attaching ourselves to the other .
she had tears still flooding in her eyes, she had stopped trying to wipe them away once they had kept flooding.Sweden has lost in the semi final against Spain, stopping them from advancing to the final of the World Cup.
It was massive de ja vu to the semis in the euros22 and lost against England but Magda looked so broken, I just wanted to take all her pain away.
“why are you sorry?you didn’t do anything”her voice was quiet as it cracked and I finally pulled her into my arms, letting her cry into my shoulder.the stadium was quiet fans and others had all left by now only families or partners and friends consoling the Swedish.
“don’t you dare blame your self for this, magdalena, this was not your fault”i told her sternly, knowing what she was like.
“but it is my fault, I failed miserably, I failed the team, I failed to bring them to victory and I failed you”she said the last bit quieter even though I was still able to hear her in the solace surrounding us .
“no,no,no, baby, your wrong, you didn’t fail your team, your brought them to the fucking semi finals, you should be proud of that and you beat the unbeaten USA not many have that power okay?”i said making her laugh but she nodded none the less.
“good, and you especially didn’t fail me or our girl”i said the last part with a smile, grabbing her hand and putting it on my prodding stomach.
now, yes, Magda was very well aware of the baby we shared currently growing in my stomach but she didn’t know the gender but I did, up until now .
magdalena was a smart girl to say the least, and she clocked on very quickly at what I was getting at.she stuttered and her mouth opened in shock and surprise.
“w-we’re having a girl?”magda stuttered, crying for a different reason now as I nodded enthusiastically, while she waited for confirmation.
“woah, baby”i said with a surprised laugh as Magda jumped me over the Barrier, wrapping her arms around me and swung me around in circles.she finally dropped me on the ground, leaning above me with her hand still on my stomach.
“you just made my whole day better”she said with a smile and I looked down blushing at her before she put her index under my chin making me look up at her before connecting our lips together slowly and happily .
we were having a girl.
Did you guys like this?

As much as I’m upset about Lotta leaving us, if she’s happy, then that’s what counts. I haven’t been a muwfc fan for long but I’ve seen Lotta play in the past and knew of her talent. Hopefully now she gets the playing time she deserves (wish Sonnett would be playing with her though, imagine that duo)
She deserves to play somewhere she’ll be able to show her potential and get game time! I hope she can be called-up again by the Swedwnt too. I’ll miss her sm but i know she’ll thrive in Sweden

I’ll be in the stands (Stina Blackstenius x reader)
Tumblr media
A/N: This is set in the same universe as Very Important Person. Based off this request. I’m not sure how I feel about this one but I hope you all like it.
Wimbledon. It was the most iconic two weeks of the year. After Australia you had been playing the best tennis of your career so it made sense that you were one of the favourites going into the tournament.
“Stina, I’m leaving” you shout up to your girlfriend.
After supporting you in Paris, Stina invited you to join her on a friends trip then she travelled to London to support you before going to New Zealand for the World Cup. She had attended Roland Garros with your parents who unfortunately couldn’t make it to London which left two spare tickets. You gave them to your girlfriend who chose to bring Frido and Magda.
“Good luck. I’ll see you on centre court” she shouted back down, no doubt still picking out what to wear.
The Swedish Women had really enjoyed embracing the fashion at Wimbledon and spent most mornings working out who is going to wear what. Today would be their last game before leaving for camp in New Zealand. You had your fourth round game to play and then if you win you would be playing your quarter game whilst they were in the air.
Dressed in white you walked onto the legendary centre court ready to fight for a spot in the next round. You had done your research on your opponent and knew how she would play and more importantly how to beat her. It’s why it comes as no surprise that you win the first set 6-2 and the second set 6-3.
As you thank the crowd your look lingers on the row that hold the three blondes with one of them capturing your attention more than the other two. You bring the S pendant on your necklace to your lips. After she gave you it for Valentine’s Day you never took it off and would kiss it after every match you played.
“Do you think she will win?” Frido asks.
“I do”
Stina had more faith in you that you did in yourself and whilst you loved her for it, it also added to the pressure because you didn’t want to let her down. The mental strength needed to be a tennis player was hard to explain to people outside the sport. Stina had watched you lose matches, not because your opponent out played you, because you lost your head a gave point after point away.
The next morning the atmosphere in the house was full of sorrow. The girls were leaving and you wouldn’t see Stina for almost a month. It wasn’t the first time you’d be spending weeks apart but you had gotten used to her company over the past couple of weeks and hated the thought of being away from her.
“Don’t go” you whisper.
You and Stina stood on the doorstep, your arms wrapped tightly around her waist.
“Hjärtat I have to go”
Truth is you weren’t asking her to stay but you do wish her flight could be delayed a day or two.
“I love you, I have faith in you and I love you”
“You already said that”
“Because I meant it. Good luck for your match, I’ll be watching on the plane”
You found little solace in knowing that Stina would still be supporting you from thousands of miles in the air. As her car drove away you felt emptier than you did just ten minutes ago but you knew that it was time for her to go, she too had a tournament to win.
Stina was a nervous wreck watching your match on the plane. You had won the first set on tie-break and she could tell that you wasn’t happy with your performance. The way you looked over to your box with a lost look on your face told everyone that you didn’t understand why the set went on this long. The second set was long but also ended in tie-break but this time you had lost. You sat in your area with a towel over your head as you tried desperately to gather your emotions. The fans at Wimbledon were known for cheering on the underdog and with you currently being number 2 and your opponent unseeded the entire arena was cheering her on instead of you.
You lost the final set 6-4.
“She’s going to be ok right?” Frido wound down the window dividing her and Stina’s booth.
“I don’t know” Stina was already sending you a reassuring text “I hope so”
You felt like you let everyone down. Stina’s message brought a momentary smile to your face but then you remember the reason why she sent it and the smile was replaced with a frown.
The Swedish national team had landed in New Zealand 26 hours after your match ended and Stina’s phone remained glued in her hand but she still hadn’t heard anything from you. She tried calling for the 5th time but like every time before that she was met with your voicemail.
“Is she still not picking up?” Magda asked.
“She does this sometimes. After a big loss she goes dark but she always texts me before doing so to let me know she’s alright”
At first she wasn’t worried but then her phone went off. She rushed to answer it not bothering to look at the caller ID. She assumed it would be you so imagine her surprise when you manager’s voice comes through the phone. She told Stina that you asked her to cancel all media for the next week and since then she couldn’t get a hold of you and she didn’t know where you were.
The team were given the next two days off in hopes that they could get over their jet lag before training starts. Most of the girls had organised to meet up and explore the city but Stina declined their invite.
She was watching Notting Hill on her iPad remembering how you took her there your first day in London before the tournament started. Her favourite scene had just started when heard a knock at the door.
There you stood with some flowers and half a smile on your face. She was just about to talk when you heard the movie playing in the background.
“The fame thing isn’t really real, you know?” And don’t forget i’m also just a girl standing in front of a girl asking her to love me”
You knew the entire movie word for word. It was your comfort film and since meeting you, it had become Stina’s too. Once your finished she flung her arms around you.
“Careful Älskling, someone might think you’ve missed me”
She was happy to see you joking around but you had her worried sick since the end of the match and now here you are in New Zealand acting as if nothing had happened.
“Where have you been? We have all been really worried about you”
“I’m sorry I didn’t text. I knew I had let you down and I wasn’t ready to face you yet”
Your joking expression vanished and the look of guilt took its place.
Stina walked back into her room and laid on the bed.
“Come here” she held her arms open wide.
You laid between her legs with your head resting on her chest. She began tracing patterns on your back and for the first time in days your thoughts became quiet and your mind was calm.
“You could never let me down Y/N. I have learnt that Tennis can be a cruel sport and this week it chose you as one of its victims”
“Hmmm”
“Shall I put this back to the beginning?” She asks referring to the film even though she knew you wouldn’t see much of it. You were bound to be both physically and mentally exhausted.
The blonde felt your heart beat even out just as Hugh Grant spills coffee over Julia Roberts. When she looks down your eyes are closed. She couldn’t believe you were here with her in New Zealand. She wasn’t sure how long you would be staying for so she chose to savour the moment playing out in front of her.
A couple of hours pass and whilst Stina’s whole body was starting to go numb, you looked too peaceful to wake so she put on another film secretly hoping that you would wake up soon because she was starting to get hungry. Just as she was strolling through nearby restaurants the door swings open.
“Stina, Y/N’s here” Frido tells her but stops talking when she sees you fast asleep in her team mates arms or so that what she thought.
“We were at this coffee shop down the road and two girls were talking about how they had just met her” Zecira says not noticing you as she goes into the bathroom.
Shhhh. She’s asleep” Stina scolds her team mates.
“No she’s not” you slowly sat up but not before placing a gentle kiss to your girlfriends lips.
You saw 4 Swedish woman looking at you and the awkward tension could be cut with a knife. All of them had watched the game and then saw the way Stina had been worried about you.
“Sorry you lost” Fillipa says earning a slap from Magda.
“Thanks but at least now I get to watch you girls play for the next month”
“You’re staying for the whole thing? You’re not going to play?” She was both happy that you were staying but also worried about you taking such a long break away from Tennis.
“I am. As for tennis, I think I need to take some time off but I can practice here when I’m ready because the courts are similar to New York”
Stina couldn’t believe what she was hearing. The two of you just looked at each other, waiting for the other to speak.
“So you Y/N Y/L/N are going to be a WAG?”
“Yes, Stina Blackstenius I am going to be a WAG. I will wear my highlighter shirt to every game and cheer you on”

Very Important Person (Stina Blackstenius x reader)
Tumblr media
A/N: Based off this request. I hope you guys like it!
The Tokyo Olympics will be an unforgettable experience for more reasons than one. It was your first time representing Sweden in the Tennis and you had won gold after beating one of your best friends Paula Badosa in the final but it also led to you meeting your now girlfriend Stina Blackstenius.
It was the day after your game, and hers, when you met. Both teams were wandering around the Olympic village before going home. The coffee shop was busy but when she walked in you got tunnel vision, everyone else became irrelevant. You wouldn't say it was love at first sight but when she caught your eye you knew there was something about her that you couldn't quite put your finger on.
Due to your hectic schedule, you haven't been able to see her play live but you would send her photos of you watching her game in your hotel room whilst wearing your Blackstenius shirt proudly.
As luck would have it Sweden were playing the Cup of Nations in Australia the same time of the Australian open in Melbourne. As far as Stina knew you had to go to Argentina to prepare for the next tournament straight after the final but that wasn't the case.
When you get back to your hotel room after winning the first Grand Slam of the year you only have one thing on your mind, Stina.
You send her a text asking her to facetime you. You would do it yourself but you didn't want her roommate to see your name on her phone and start asking questions.
"You're a champion!" Stina congratulates you as soon as her face appears on your screen. By the looks of it she is sat in the hallway with her earphones in "How are you feeling? It looked like a tough match"
"You watched it?" Even now you don't expect Stina to watch all of your matches especially ones like this. Due to the high heat your match didn't start till 9pm. It was a long time for anyone and with Stina having a game the next day you only expected to watch the first hour or so at most.
"I did. Frido even watched some of it before falling asleep. Now please answer my question, how are you feeling?" Stina can tell by the look in your eyes that you are tired.
"The fatigue is beginning to set in but I don't care, I have this" you hold your trophy up for her to see.
"I'm so proud of you Y/N" her tone is sincere, you loved that you had someone in your corner supporting you and not just anyone but you had found your person.
"Thank you. It almost makes being away from you for so long worth it, almost" She laughs when you wink at her.
"What time is your flight tomorrow?"
You have to think on your feet. As far as Stina is aware, you are leaving Australia tomorrow. Then it's as if a light bulb goes off in your head. You can tell her the truth, just not all of it.
"9am" what you don't tell her is that is the time your flight from Melbourne leaves to go to Sydney.
"That's in 5 hours, couldn't you get a later flight?" Another thing you loved about Stina is how much she cared for you. She always wanted to make sure you were resting enough when you were training or that you were eating enough when your schedule was at its busiest.
"I can't. I have a meeting with a very important person that I cannot miss"
Little did Stina know that the very important person you are referring to is her.
When you arrive at the stadium 13 hours later you are surprisingly nervous which you find absurd given that you have just played a grand slam final in front of 15,000 people.
Your still consider your relationship with Stina fairly new even though you had been dating for almost a year. After the Olympics you spent months talking over text and having nightly facetime calls but due to the lack of seeing her in person it took your quite a while to ask her to be your girlfriend because you wanted to do it in person. It was her wish to keep your relationship private due to your profile which you understood, it did however make getting tickets to games more difficult especially when you wanted to keep your attendance a secret.
Much to your annoyance a camera is pointed in your face within minutes of sitting down. The Swedish players are warming up when the sound of their fans cheering loudly grabs their attention.
"What's going on?" Filippa asks.
The team look around to see if is they can find the cause of the noise. At this point your face is on each of the big screens within the ground.
"No way" Stina whispers to herself in disbelief.
When you see that the team are watching you from the pitch you wink into the camera. Stina knew it was for her but her team mates couldn't help but speculate.
"Is that Y/N Y/L/N?" Magda says rather excitedly given that she considers herself a huge fan of yours.
"What is she doing in Australia?" Zecira asks.
"She has just won the Australian open! You should know this" the captain scolds the keeper.
"She's supposed to be in Argentina" Stina says to no one in particular.
"I didn't know you were a fan?" Magda asks the forward.
Stina freezes for a second, much like a deer does in headlights. She cannot help but feel like she has been caught when in reality this is nowhere near true.
"Oh, Stina is a huge fan. She has made us watch every one of her matches in our room. We stayed up till what 1am this morning?" Frido adds.
"You took a nap half way through the second set and I remember you cheering when she won so don't act like you didn't enjoy it" Stina playfully shoves her roommate.
The team watch you give a short interview on the screen whilst they passed the ball around, it was a feeble excuse of a warm up but you had their attention.
"She has one of our shirts on. Do you think she brought it with her?"
Stina knows the answer to this. You take a least one of her shirts with you whenever you travel. You said it gives you extra motivation on days when you didn't want to train.
"Looks like she has someone the back. Place your bets ladies?" Filippa jokes only to be met with a number of responses.
Whilst some players jokingly say themselves, most say Magda given that she is the captain and face of the team. Meanwhile anger starts to form in Stina's gut at the thought of you wearing a shirt with anyone's name on other than her own.
"Me" Stina's tone is confident and unexpected.
The girls watch in anticipation as you remove your thin Nike jacket so you can reveal the back.
BLACKSTENIUS 11
"That looks like a players shirt to me" Frido nudges the forward.
"Now where would she get one of my shirts from?" Stina teases.
"From you. You're taking mysterious phone calls and have been for quite a while. You're watching all of her matches and now here she is supporting you" the cogs start turning in Frido's head as she connects the dots.
"What a coincidence" Stina replies.
The atmosphere in the stadium is electric and even though the Swedish fans are outnumbered they are still cheering loud and proud. When Stina scores you are up on your feet cheering loud like the proud girlfriend you are. She looks straight towards you and blows you a kiss which you pretend to catch.
"And now you're dedicating your goal to her" Frido says as the pair run back to their positions.
At half time, after the team talk, Frido begins interrogating your girlfriend for more information making it clear that she knows that the two of you know each other.
When your phone goes off you expect to see a message from your manager with your flight details as you are due to leave Australia in the morning. Instead, it is a text from Stina which reads I'm ready to tell them and by me, I mean you. Meet me at my hotel.
You spend the second half thinking about how you are supposed to introduce yourself to Stina's team mates. You had done plenty of meet and greets but you know how much this team means to your girlfriend so you want to get things right. When the full time whilst gets blown, you desperately want to see her whether it's only a glimpse or a look that lasts just that little bit longer but a man dressed head to toe in Sweden national team gear taps you on your shoulder before you get the chance.
Both teams do a lap of the stadium to thank the fans for their support. Stina gets to your stand only to find your seat empty. She knows she said to meet her at the hotel but she thought you would stay to see her before leaving. Just as she is about to enter the tunnel, she hears two young girls talking about you and how they can't believe that you were the game. Suddenly your early exit makes sense. Knowing you the way she did, Stina knew you wouldn't want to risk getting spotted by the Swedish fans or it might take you a while to get out of the stadium.
The team gets showered and are relaxing in the locker room whilst waiting for the last of them to get ready.
"Ladies, is everybody dressed?" Magda asks as she scans the room "Good because we have a special guest"
With no further introduction you enter the locker room. The players who are fans are quick to meet you but the one blonde you are so desperate to see is nowhere to be found.
After taking a few photos you congratulate them on their win and they return the favour.
"Let me guess you're here to see your girlfriend?" Frido asks you. The look that is spread across her face let’s you know she doesn't need an answer.
"I am" just as you finish your short sentence your favourite blonde comes into sight "Hi baby"
The sound of your voice makes Stina turn on her heels. She didn't expect it but seeing you in person, up close, after only seeing you on a phone screen for the last 2 months is very overwhelming.
"Me?" Lina, Zecira and Fillipa say in unison.
A small chuckle escapes your lips but your eyes never leave the woman behind them.
"I've really missed you"
Madga orders the team to give you the room and that they'll meet you on the bus.
"I thought you and Paula were getting a flight straight after your game so you could have a day off before training starts" Stina says as she wraps her arms around your neck. You really wanted to tease her about how tight her hold is but you didn't want to risk her pulling away.
"We thought we'd stay an extra day. I needed to see you and us being in the same country was too good of an opportunity to miss"
Silence soon fills the room. A smirk tugs at the corner of your mouth when you see Stina staring at your lips. Part of you loved how hesitant she was even though you had been officially dating for almost a year. When you lean forward, she meets you half way, the kiss is something you have been craving since you said you said goodbye to her back in November.
"I've missed that" Stina makes it known that she has missed the physical connection just as much as you have "I have missed able to do this and this" she trails kisses on your neck then down to your collarbone.
"I've missed a lot more than that but this is neither the time nor the place and I need to get you back to your team before you get in trouble" You get Stina's bag from her locker, take her hand in yours, lead her out of the locker room and to the team bus, where just as luck would have it is about to leave with the last few players getting on.
You steal one last kiss before giving Stina her bag.
"You can come back to the hotel with us, I cleared it with our coach" Madga appears at the top of the steps.
"I can't" your response causes your girlfriend to pout "Don't give me that face. Thank you Magdalena, but I was coming back to the hotel regardless, I booked a room there for the night but I drove her so I will have to drive back" you recognise the look on Stina's face "no, you go with your team. I'll see you soon"
You all but follow the bus back to the hotel which lets you walk in with the team. It turns out some of them came up with more questions on the journey which you are happy to answer. Stina on the other hand wants nothing more than to see goodbye to her team mates so she can have you to herself.
When you get into the elevator, she leans back into you and your arms snake around her waist.
"Be patient Älskling" your tone is low as you whisper in her ear.
When the lift arrives at the team floor, not all players get out. You hear Stina sigh which makes you think she knows something you don't.
"Magda wanted to take a photo with your trophy" upon hearing her name the Sweden captain turns to you.
"My family are huge tennis fans" Magda adds when she realises you have no idea that your girlfriend had made the offer.
You nod your head at the captain, letting her know that it is fine but you see a chance to tease the rest of them so you take it.
"And the rest of you? I knew Magda was a fan but you lot don't strike me as the tennis type"
Their eyes widen.
"Stina wasn't a tennis type till she met you"
"Yeah, you have the same effect on us"
"It's not the same!" Stina is quick to correct them.
"No, it's not" you tilt your head down to kiss her but it is short lived as the elevator arrives at your floor.
You watch with a sense of pride as Stina's team mates pose with your trophy. Stina on the other hand comes waltzing out of the bathroom, no longer wearing her team attire. Instead, she is wearing one of your hoodies and a pair of your joggers. She must have taken them off the bed when you were getting the trophy out its case.
She sits beside you on the bed and rests her head on your shoulder.
"Do you see that backpack over there?" Stina nods "That's is yours to take back to England. This" you pull at her, well your, joggers "are brand new and I planned on wearing them tomorrow"
"You can take them off me when they leave"
Stina's bashfulness catches you off guard but you remain quiet, your desired response is not appropriate given that you are not alone in your room.
"Does this mean you're ready for the world to know?" you move her shorts up slightly so that you can trace shapes on her bare thigh.
You feel her shake her head against your shoulder.
"I'm not ready yet" Stina admits.
"That's ok. Our friends and family know and if you ask me that's all that matters" you place a kiss to her hairline.
