YouTube apparently removed Svetlana Baskova's extreme horror film The Green Elephant (1999) for "violating the Terms of Service". The upload was from the director herself.
It had been there for years, but I guess someone snitched, and being age-restricted wasn't good enough. But then, given the film's extreme nature (coprophilia, prison r*pe, suicide, biting a guy's face off and playing with his trachea...), I guess it was bound to happen.
Anyway, in trying to find another upload, I found not one, but TWO cartoons based on it, and I'm just floored they exist (the first has no dialogue, but the second is in Russian, and doesn't have any subtitles).
I mean, anything goes in animation, but you just don't expect an extreme, shot-on-video horror film with profanity, gore, and human excrement--that's banned from distribution in its home country--to become an inspiration for it.

Horror Films by Women: Day 8
The Green Elephant (Зелёный слоник) (1999) – Written and directed by Svetlana Baskova (WARNING: This film falls under the realm of "extreme cinema". It is comparable to the works of filmmakers like Marian Dora or Fred Vogel. If you are unfamiliar with either of those names, you may wish to avoid this one. It is not for those with weak stomachs!).
