Konstantin "Koča" Popović (Serbian Cyrillic: Константин "Коча" Поповић; 14 March 1908 – 20 October 1992) was a Serbian and Yugoslav politician and communist volunteer in the Spanish Civil War, 1937–1939 and Divisional Commander of the First Proletarian Division of the Yugoslav Partisans. He is on occasion referred to as "the man who saved the Yugoslav Partisans", because it was he who anticipated the weakest point in the Axis lines on the Zelengora–Kalinovik axis, and devised the plan for breaking through it during the Battle of Sutjeska, thus saving Josip Broz Tito, his headquarters and the rest of the resistance movement. After the war, he served as the Chief of the General Staff of the Yugoslav People's Army, before moving to the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs and spent the final years of his political career as Vice President of Yugoslavia.

Kraljevska Sutjeska is a village with medieval origins, in the Bosna river valley northeast of Sarajevo. The house of Ivo Dusper is one of the region's few remaining old buildings, dating from the early 19th century. Built of stone, wood and adobe (ćerpič), and formed as a two-storey Dinaric-type dwelling, this house is distinguished by its wooden porches: an open gallery on the main living floor, and a projecting veranda (čardak) in the attic. The wooden detailing of the porches includes arches between the posts. Restorations occurred in the early 2000s. (photo 1988)

Watch Bitka na Neretvi i Sutjeska, Povratak otpisanih, Valter brani Sarajevo, essential partisan classics. Tri (1965) too. Ko to tamo peva (1980) and Inat (1988) are also very good historical dramas (or in the case of the former, comedy-adjecent).

Com passagens na base de Santos e São Paulo, meia Caique Augusto valoriza o seu segundo título nacional em Montenegro

Natural de Barueri, o meia Caique Augusto iniciou a sua trajetória no futebol justamente no seu estado tendo experiências nas categorias de base do São Paulo e Santos. Depois passou por outras equipes, já como profissional, entre elas: Avaí, Nacional-PR e Taubaté. Até que, em 2017, ele teve a oportunidade de transferir-se para o exterior e desde então não retornou mais ao futebol brasileiro.

A primeira experiência de Caique Augusto fora do Brasil foi na França quando defendeu as cores do Stade Bordelais. Na temporada 2019/2020, ele teve uma passagem pelo Zvijezda 09, da Bósnia-Herzgovina. Mas, foi em Montenegro que o meia viveu os seus grandes momentos no futebol europeu. No total, já defendeu quatro clubes no país: FK Arsenal Tivat, FK Sutjeska, OFK Petrovac e atualmente atua pelo FK Decic.

O primeiro título nacional de Caique Augusto em Montenegro foi na temporada 2021/2022 pelo FK Sutjeska. Já no último sábado, o meia pôde comemorar o seu segundo título da Liga Montenegrina, porém, desta vez pelo FK Decic após vitória, fora de casa, por 1×0 justamente diante do FK Sutjeska, o seu ex-time. Vale destacar que é o primeiro título na elite nacional do FK Decic “Estou muito feliz e realizado com esse título inédito na história do clube. Consegui ser uma peça importante e, junto com todos os outros meus companheiros, fizemos história. Chegamos a essa conquista fruto de muito sacrifício, renúncias e dedicação de todos os envolvidos”, explicou o meia de 30 anos.

Das 35 partidas até então do FK Decic na temporada, Caique Augusto esteve presente em 30 jogos. Ele é, por exemplo, o segundo jogador do time que mais deu assistências, com quatro passes decisivos para gols. “A sequência de partidas me deu confiança para sempre entrar e dar o meu melhor. O treinador depositou muita confiança em mim e consegui retribuir, principalmente servindo os meus companheiros. Acredito que um meia deve estar sempre ali no topo do ranking quando se trata de assistências”, opinou o jogador brasileiro.

Mesmo já tendo conquistado o título, o FK Decic ainda tem a última partida do Campeonato de Montenegro no próximo sábado, em casa, contra o FK Arsenal Tivat. A expectativa é de uma grande festa para comemorar o título inédito. Sobre o futuro, Caique Augusto garante que o foco é descansar antes de definir qual equipe defenderá na sequência de sua carreira. “O meu contrato acaba agora e o meu pensamento está em descansar um pouco. Antes temos essa última partida, diante do nosso torcedor e que queremos celebrar. Sou grato ao FK Decic pela confiança e oportunidade. Foi uma boa temporada, mas buscarei melhorar ainda mais o meu desempenho no próximo desafio”, finalizou.
