Yo! I just wanna let you all know I appreciate you and am grateful for your support/patience. So the last three or so weeks are the worst my mental health has dropped in around 4 years? I had some things happen here and some emotional processing to do, so I did not get to write much this weekend. I do feel better now though ( somewhat ), but I deleted the tumb.lr app and almost disabled my dis.cord last week ( settled for deleting the app ). So I am taking baby steps in coming back here. If it seems like my communication has faltered, that’s because it has. I’m working through some things and will be slow to recalibrate there, and you are welcome to ask me about whatever’s going on or our standing if you feel so inclined.

Anyway, I’m still in the process of finding my comfort here which will include the following:

Potentially dropping muses

Revamping my exclusives/mains page ( feel free to let me know if you’d like to discuss our status )

Dropping some threads/asks; going to do a thorough inbox cleanup as time permits

So I have not been around ( surprise! ), but I am thinking I might remake this blog. Drop a bunch of muses and keep a pretty tight circle. This blog has a lot of bad juju attached to it after some recent things that happened in the last few months ( if you know you know; if you want to know, you can DM me ). I've been wanting to be active here, but my motivation just falls to 0 every time I login. I've been spending a lot of time on my Hazbin blog, gaming, and trying to move forward in life ( re: new job; new housing ). So I think it might be time to close this chapter and start anew since that usually makes me feel better. No timeframe yet, and it's just a thought but seems more likely than not.

In the meantime, I will continue to try and answer things here, so thank you all for your patience and support ♥

Apologies for not being around much recently. Life has not been very kind. The unofficial job offer I received a few months ago officially canceled the position today, so I’m back to square one. Thank you all for your patience. Most of my work travel is over until August at least.

I lost (cut ties) a very important person to me last month, and that had weighed on me a fair amount over the last few weeks. Been feeling very isolated because of it, but I think that is largely my own fault to some extent. I’m gonna try to do what I can to build more connections. I’ve just been in my head about things recently. If anyone wants to chat or call on discord though, let me know. I don’t like writing there or plotting much because, to me, the friendships in writing are more important than the actual writing itself. So just a heads up on that since I know there was a lot of discussion about wanting to talk about muses and join servers recently.

Anyway, sending you all my love. I will be back once motivation picks up!

I think I may have sort of hit my limit on capacity as a person. There’s been a lot going on in life with personal relationships and travel as well as trying to just keep up with maintaining trivial things like chores and such. I’ll be traveling almost every week until the beginning of November. I’ve been having a lot of anxiety that’s affecting my ability to sleep. Last night I dreamt I went to the airport for my next work meeting and some rando stole my wallet and I had to hunt then down through the entire airport —

But the main issue is whenever I get like this, it affects everything since I’m just all around tense and sleep-deprived. So I think I may purge a fair amount of my inbox. I may work on clearing out some older drafts too as well as remove muses I’m not really feeling.

I won’t be offended if anyone decides this doesn’t work for them or if I’m not the right writing partner for them; that’s incredibly valid and not everyone has limitless patience. That being said, I think I will feel a lot better once my hobby feels less overwhelming. It’s the confounding between life AND writing that has me like 😬

I’ve been super weird about talking to people and feeling like I constantly need to perform rather than take it easy, which doesn’t help anyone. I wanna talk with everyone, but I also get super hard on myself if I feel like I said something wrong and whatnot. So if I come into your DMs weirdly apologetic, that is probably why.

So anyway (tl;dr), I’m going to try to clean up this blog to make myself more comfortable because my time has become INCREDIBLY limited and I’m stressed. So if you wanna unfollow because I drop interactions or muses, I understand.
