Blacked out in front of my tablet and woke up with sketches of my Touchstarved mc + Kuras my beloved. woops

#I found out dr. kuras is 6'6 I said hold on lemme get a stool so I can climb this man #touchstarved #touchstarved game #touchstarved kuras #kuras #sleepyscribble #oc.emma #my mc is meant to be a self insert but also like. I wanted to come up w a design and character arc and everything jkvkvk #so I ended up basing her on my personality/looks but taking her into a direction that would fit the game #she's like. me but 'characterized' and a bit exaggerated for the sake of being a character yk #the way she turned out is that she's basically a friendly happy go lucky mage who laughs at her own misery but hides #a deep layer of self loathing underneath all that bc of her curse #having been cursed all her life she believes she's a monster and the sunny personality is a way for her to 'make up for it'#but at the same time she feels like a farse. like she's only luring ppl in to an inevitable demise #and she thinks she's selfish bc despite knowing the danger she poses she still goes out there and puts herself among ppl #bc she craves human connection. even tho she feels guilty for 'indulging' in it #anyway I love the cursed mc concept in this game <3 it's been really interesting to think abt how that would affect someone #also I kept her physical features looking pretty much like mine #bc I wanted to draw myself in a cute way. teehee #but the clothing I was basically thinking like. early game simple clothing that she didn't rlly pick for herself #and maybe later I can have an updated design w something she would actually pick for herself

do you ever think about the fact that dennis has very specifically and intentionally put himself in the position of "caregiver" with charlie as established back in season 1. do you think about the fact that he attempts to do so in a way that treats charlie like a child and coddles and shelters him engages with him and takes charlie's feelings into consideration and doesn't force him into anything, centering patience and understanding.

do you think about the fact that he has continued this exact approach with charlie time and time again. how he doesn't pursue or push further even if he doesn't understand or even outright disagrees with charlie, he engages on charlie's level, calms him down when he's getting worked up about something, and gets him to move past it

as a frequent phil viewer i understand that he wasn't trying to come off as scary when talking to sunny, but man from an outside perspective/ sunny's perspective he did sound pretty mean :/

i think it's sweet that he has been trying to encourage tallulah's decisions and letting her decide who she likes and who she does not, but imo he is taking it a bit too far

you could even see afterwards how much it affected sunny and they started blaming themself bc of that conversation, even though it's not her fault :( so even if phil didn't mean anything by it, he just made things worse

let's face it sunny has valid reasons not to like or trust phil, he hasn't been the nicest to her from the start which she has adressed a few times, and i'm interested in seeing where all this goes !

I’ll get off my soulfire posting in a minute but how different do you think it would be if they didn’t hold back, if tubbo loosened his hold on bads leash, if they weren’t afraid.

Speaking of that actually, I wonder how much tubbos duel with etolies in the beginning changed things. Idk how to describe it but I think loosing that fight made a big shift in his character (it was also such a cool moment, a fight in a desert. No one else around, honorable and equal) like it changed his perspective on things

Everyone wants the eggs to be diverse complex characters with their own problems up until they actually do and have genuine conflict with another egg or person based on their own opinions and not on being a neutral entity that can do no wrong.

yeah, most of the phil defenders are unintentionally making him sound worse imo. just accept that he has accidentally hurt the feelings of a child and hope that the two of them will build a better relationship once they spend more time together. they've only interacted like twice, it's not that deep yet, it doesn't mean phil is a horrible person and he doesn't need to be defended at the expense of a child. every character has flaws and makes mistakes. also if you actually watch sunny (tubbo's pov) she's clearly very young so imposing real morals on them before they've had a chance to learn is a little weird.

No one is perfect, and no one is gonna be perfect with every kid they meet especially if they were in grieving. It’s unnecessary to defend him, I’d prefer if people made more complex analyze of his relationship with Sunny that I could read, instead of accidentally shooting themselves in the foot. It would be horrible if Phil was imposing heavy moral standards to the point where he deems punishment is necessary on a child, arguing that is what he’s doing to defend him is just odd. People make mistakes, and Phil made a mistake and he’s hurting a kid with his comments, and I hope in the future he’s able to learn and grow from that.

Just to state it outright; I highly doubt Phil is imposing a weird moral standard about stealing on Sunny, when he’s completely okay with all the other eggs doing it.

The sad thing is

1) She has said sunny isn’t her family. And she doesn’t consider her family (She might have sorta befriended her now but Sunny internalized this)

2) Sunny Definitely feels like a burden and alone. And that only Tubbo who is off his rocker is the only one that loves her.

hii, foolish main here :D ! leo is very stubborn, for better or for worse. foolish HAS tried to get her to be nice to sunny, even before she met them ( since she didn't trust any of the new eggs at first, like she wanted pepito DEAD. ) but that ultimately just led to them having (1) civil short conversation when they first met.. which was after an hour of convincing.

but, before foolish is a roleplay parent, he is an enabler if somethings funny—and he finds the egg baby beef funny so while he doesn't actively encourage leo, he doesn't try and stop the beef after their 1v1 gun fight.

ah alr that makes sense from foolishs pov at least. sunny def views it as some kind of bullying tho 😭 she doesnt outright say the word bully (i dont think. i havent watched every sunny clip ever) but she implies she feels that way whenever she talks to tubbo about leo

yeah tho makes sense streamer man gonna do what streamer man thinks is funny tubbo does that all the time as well so cant fault foolish for that lmaoo
