In an exclusive radio interview during 'Foro de los Pueblos: Sunday Edition' last Sunday morning (September 3rd, 2023 -- Dumaguete local time), Rex 'Kandos' Santos (whose real name as Joene Donato Cahilog) makes history to tackle local and regional issues with his personal commentary of Negros Oriental. The acronym of KANDOS (in Cebuano dialect): "Kasaligan, Abtik sa solusyon, Nagtagad sa mga nidaog-daog, Dampanan sa mga Katawhan, On-time sa Serbisyo, ug Serbisyong Tinu-oray" (Reliability, Quicker to Solve, considerate of their victims, Help for the People, On-time Service and Keeping it Honest with Personality).
Since 2005, when Cahilog began his career in the AM band, he has been the only hard-hitting, no-nonsense radio commentator, followed by an FM station by mid-April 2011 (with the likes of DYGB-FM 91.7mhz's Power91FM, DYRL-FM 90.5mhz: Like Radio Dumaguete and DYSQ-FM 105.7mhz's Radyo Bisdak: Siquijor). The rest is historical except for one local radio station on Radyo Bandera. His acceptance with approval as suggested from Dr. Ramel Ytang Uy (CEO of RBSFM-VisMin and Clinica de Alternativo Medicine and Wellness Center) and 11MBPS' radio anchor Jean Paul Cañete Generoso by simply adding a new radio host, in replacing with Mr. Aurelia.
Cahilog will be on a hot seat every weekday afternoons where the listeners in Visayas & Mindanao, and streaming worldwide to become a new sound of blazingly hottest issues and locally sugar-coated discussions in Negros Oriental. Station Manager of RBSFM Dumaguete (Bernie Cabusao) spoke to him exclusively for a radio program preview in the industry of broadcasting.
'Sentensyador' with Ka-Banderang Rex Santos premieres September 4th by tuning in LIVE every Monday to Friday afternoons at 4:30pm, immediately following 'Bandera Balita sa Hapon @ 6pm' with Bhoy Jubane Pilonggo and Ciara Marie Jomillo. Only on Radyo Bandera: Sweet FM Dumaguete and streaming LIVE on Facebook, YouTube and on the RBSFM App.
Radyo Bandera: Sweet FM Network-Visayas is an affiliated radio broadcasting firm on this Internet TV station and News Organization of OneNETtv Channel and OneNETnews.
