@subsetter​ asked: lazily draped over the back of the couch, sugawara watched as alice moved around their shared apartment, chin resting on a cushion. their relationship was still somewhat new, albeit electric, and he'd been slow pushing for anything more than movie night cuddles and their usual daily kisses. and it wasn't that he was in a rush for more, if anything he was nervous, but things have been feeling more and more normal as time passes, and he suddenly found himself hoping to take another step... together. " hey, " the word came out a bit broken, and he paused to clear his throat with a little smile that was probably half hidden behind the couch, " i was wondering... and feel free to say no, of course! it doesn't have to be now, or - or like, ever, if you don't want to - but i was maybe hoping to... " he hesitated, trailing off as his anxiety got the best of him at the last moment. why hadn't he just said it quickly, before he had the chance to chicken out? instead, he shook his head before turning to bury his face in the couch.

     It was laundry day for her, and being able to borrow one of her boyfriend’s hoodies so she could also include what she’d been wearing on the load was one of her many, many favorite things about living with him. At the cheery little tune of the machine telling her the cycle was done, she headed towards the utility room, gently patting Kou’s head on her way there. Reemerging with a basket full of toasty, fresh out of the dryer clothes, she was going to fold them in her room, but decided to do it on the living room at the sound of him calling out. “Hmm~?” Setting the basket by the coffee table, she looked up at him as he swiveled around to face her.

The hesitance in his voice had Alice leaving the laundry for the moment and going to join him on the couch instead, giving him her undivided attention. His bouts of bashfulness were always lovely, and she often shared in them. That clumsy approach had her wondering if they’d been both stuck on the same page, ready to take the next step but overthinking it. Scooting closer, she touched a hand to his blushing cheek and brought his gaze back to hers, her smile full of fondness as she guided him into a long, loving kiss.

“Hoping to..?” Her voice was soft and hopeful, a whisper caressed to his lips before she dared to sneak in a small nibble.

Tendou Starter Call || @subsetter​

“Well, well, well!! Ain’t this a bit of small world!” Tendou was grinning ear to ear; having popped one of his headphones out mid-browse of the conbini’s ice cream selection. They had to have the new flavor in by now. He’d been bothering the poor clerk up front for weeks for a restock. But in his journey for sweets his gaze went on a familiar setter.

“Whatcha doin’ here in my neck of the woods, huh??”

     a new thing i’m going to try to remember to do every friday; call out the beloved people on this site purely for being amazing. this friday is the lovely and amazing bunny! if you don’t already follow, then i suggest you do.

     dearest bunny is one of my favorite people and i am not afraid to say it. in my opinion, they are suga in real life and you can’t change my mind about this. just a lovely and pure person who makes things better. that is what suga is and that is what bunny is. when thing were tough for me and i was having a hard time, they were totally their for me in the simplest and sweetest of way. i was feeling really alone and wanted to give up on my tumblr experience but they made me change my mind. not because they told me i had to stay or anything like that, their kindness made me give this place another change because i knew i had someone nice in my corner. that was enough for me and enough to keep me coming back.

     when it comes to plotting we just sync well. we totally match each other’s energies and it makes me really happy. not only to we love our characters but we love each other’s characters as well and it shows. they send me cute and spicy things that remind them of our ship and i love ever single thing. our plot is fantasic, suga and bodhi make me so happy and so jealous at the same time. ( i want what they have, it’s honestly not fair. ) they are totally soulmates and i think that means we are writing soulmates right? isn’t that how it works? i mean --- it makes sense to me. all i know is that whenever i have a reply on discord or tumblr from bunny, my day is already instantly better. not even just replies, even a simple message of hello or plotting makes me happy too!

     let’s talk about writing by the way, bunny is super talented. if you follow, you already know this. it’s easy to write as suga so wonderful when you have a big heart yourself. replies are beautiful, headcanons for suga or our ship are amazing! i feel like i am in the presence of greatness, and i feel very lucky.

     i also feel blessed to have met them. this maybe a hellsite at times and not everyone is kind or truthful. but bunny is one of the good one’s, no lie. talented, amazing, incredible, sensational, awesome... and all the other words that means they are the best and i love them. xx

          BODHI WAS OFTEN ALONE.     ---     either he was with the girl’s volleyball team, the only people who knew him well enough to not be afraid, or he was sitting somewhere without anyone else. lonely, no doubt about it, and something he was pretty sure he would never get used too. even now he was outside the gym, just standing there looking at something in his hand. scary, some would say. what was he planning? some might speculate and worry about.

          he felt eyes on him, making bodhi look up to see the setter watching him. light brown eyes looked right back, blinked, and then held his hand out. “ butterfly.” he said simply, holding his hand out. the butterfly was indeed sitting in his palm, no fear.

     “ S..Sugawara-san, please stop. ” Tobio doesn’t have the heart to speak louder than a few decibels towards his former upperclassman, despite his wish to get his point across. Of course Koushi had permission to hang out with the team after a match; they were all pleased to see such a friendly figure, and even during their busiest schedules, Tobio would insist in at least giving him a greeting. But that’s not to say he hasn’t occasionally dreaded that same decision, especially when his most embarrassing moments of his first high school year were being disclosed so nonchalantly. Tobio’s lips are shut tight with a nervous breath between pleas for mercy, a rose color tinging his heated cheeks. For how much longer would he have to endure this?

“ Whaat -? there both my friends, you can’t make me choose. I care for them both !!”

It was an unfair question really. Both of them are his friend - he values both of them just as much as values their whole team. But..it was different, wasn’t it. Just like every relationship you had.

Semi and him had a banter like friendship, they would tease each other but also try to keep each other from going overboard, their close yes….

But when it comes down to it, his best friend was, Wakatoshi. May their talks onesided for the most part - he was the one Tendou feels the most comfortable around him. Where he could be himself without being judged. And Wakatoshi never seemed to mind or care, he was the first person Tendou ever meet who just wasn’t turned off by his quirky behavior. It might be why he decided to befriend him in the first place. And Wakatoshi seemed to enjoy his company too - he thought at last, But knowing him, he would have made clear if he didn’t want to readhead company wouldn’t he?

Yes, he was close to both, but he just couldn’t say the same about Semi. It isn’t that he was uncomfortable around him, no. But Tendou was neither stupid nor blind, he just was to aware of his surroundings, he could read people and how the react towards him - he knows Semi struggles to understand him, was more often than not confused. It wasn’t a bad thing really, Tendou still knows he cares, it isn’t anything like he had an experiment in the past, luckily.

And as much as he loves their banter, he sometimes had a hard time telling when he was serious or not. If he was truly annoying to him or not. He probably was closer to Reon and Wakatoshi anyway… Even if Tendou know he was one person he could turn to if he needed anything.

“...Wakatoshi” he breathed out eventually, for once no cheering screaming about how their best friends. This wasn’t fair but it was what it was. Wakatoshi is his best friend, the person Tendou would gravitate towards too the most. The person he decides to befriend from day 1. It might also help he had been a regular alongside him from very early one too.

It was astounding, how different you could feel about people on a platonic level and yet...

Training camps are too long. That's what Kenma's decided. They're just too long. Two days should be the absolute maximum. Anything more than that ought to be illegal. Aside from the seeing friends you don't get to see often part, that's cool.

But being made to move. So much. That should be illegal. Kenma keeps trying to run away and hide, even if he knows the practice is important.

Unfortunately, there aren't many hiding places. Right now, the only place he can find is occupied by Suga. Kenma quickly decides that doesn't matter.

"Don't tell anybody I'm here. Setter's honour." Is all he says before he crouches slightly and falls to the side, flopping onto the floor to lay with his eyes closed.
