biography,

mack is from glencoe, in scotland. there, he’s the middle child of three, and the youngest of two boys. his big brother is a brute and his younger sister could serve mack up for dinner if she wanted to. 

when he lived in scotland ( which was up until about six years ago, when he was eighteen ), you could always find mack playing a brutal game of shinty in the hills. he was a boy’s boy for sure, and still is ldkfmgdflkgm. he loves goofing off and having a good time and generally being immersed in the company of people he loves. he’d spend way too much time with his family, in the kitchen pretending to help with dinner when he was actually just eating and talking and distracting his father and sister ( the bred cooks in his family ). 

mack always found himself compensating for his drunk of a big brother. his brother, graham, is four years older than him, and constantly caused the family strife before he was kicked out. mack, being the heartfelt clown he is, was the beating heart of the family. he kept everyone in love with each other, he made sure there wasn’t a day in which each of his family members were wanting--of attention, of quality time, of someone to fetch the groceries while laney ( his sister, five years younger than him ) was at school. so when mack decided to leave glencoe and start traveling on his own, his family definitely felt winded.

mack is so kind and loving and takes decisions that’d affect his loved ones so seriously that his parents looked to him, rather than to his big brother, to be the heir of their manor. but mack is also..... fickle and fleeting and can’t understand why people want to tie him down and put those good qualities to work to save his life. so instead of agreeing, he broke his family’s heart and decided to follow his own--throughout europe, and then to asia, and finally to america, where he has been setting down for four years as an actor in xoxo.

mack is for sure what harry styles is to the press of the music world. every fic written about him is based on this bad boy heterosexual image of him that the world loves to flaunt and daydream about. it doesn’t help that he loves to play the part he knows everyone else loves to lay out for him. he finds it a little fun to pretend that he was typecast for his lothario, bad boy role in xoxo. but he definitely wasn’t. mack, beneath that tabloid gossip, craves real & true love, would be the first to give his life for the people he loves, gives far more than he receives, etc. he’s just... lowkey about it. his clownery doesn’t really help dial down his frivolous press image either but.... oh well. mack still keeps in touch with his little sister, who thinks he’s an idiot and hates his acting ( lovingly <3 KDLMFG ). he doesn’t keep in touch with his older brother, though, who’s still a drunk and now has inherited the ross estate after their parents died three years ago.

he lives in a gated la community in a house he bought. it’s the first house he has ever had since he began traveling at eighteen, and the not moving around gig is making him a little antsy.

he loves being surrounded by people. he loves throwing cast parties at his house, drinking wine with friends all night, playing stupid party games, and making people laugh until they cry. between takes he’s never in his dressing room. that thing is probably barren. he’s always goofing off, always kicking a ball outside the studio, always playing pranks on cast members, etc. mack is rarely not interacting with people. 

so when he is at home alone at the end of a long day... you can bet he’s wishing he had company. this urge for “something, always” has definitely gotten him into trouble before.

she was a good student though struggled with ‘peer relationships’. her obsessive competitive nature drove her to join committee after committee, bring home assignment after assignment with bright red marks on it for her father to fawn over. but he never did.

her career began when she landed a commercial for cereal at the age of thirteen. from there, it was a long line of commercials and ads. only when she turned sixteen and got a lead role on the ‘scandalous’ television series ‘high grade’. her career skyrocketed from there and she starred in two films before america came calling

royals was the third project she auditioned for in the states and when she landed it, saba immediately made plans to launch her career from los angeles, ca.

she’s a very vocal and proud personality. her british accent lacks the typical refinement that most people would expect. (it’s cockney but slowly fading after three years in america and the accent she uses for the show) where other actresses play the game, saba doesn’t feel she needs to. she says what she wants, does what she wants, and does not care what people think. she’s got a very consistent fanbase and they find her (sometimes) rude and/or vulgar behavior amusing.

growing up was quite uneventful in the best of ways. bodie had a pretty pleasant childhood. loving parents and a relatively healthy, happy family. his father is a big hollywood plastic surgeon and mother an architect. they are both extremely hard working and made it a priority to teach him the importance of discipline and responsibility at a young age. they set their expectations for the boy high.

often in his teen years he took care of his two younger sisters, as his parents both work full time. they had a nanny to help, so he didn’t have to, but his sisters always came first to him and being the oldest he is definitely a protective older brother

cancer & death mention tw :  when he was fifteen, his youngest sister, at six, was diagnosed with leukemia. for 2 years his life revolved around her. bodie was never extremely social to begin with, but in high school he was always invited to the parties & the tailgates. it wasn’t a very hard decision, but the boy chose to stay home with his sisters pretty much every weekend.

when she passed away, his family never seemed to get back on their feet. her room was left like a museum, tears and shouting resulting from his mother whenever anyone touched anything in there. once he turned eighteen, bodie moved out eagerly – nothing drastically far, still in the same city (he couldn’t leave his other sister behind!! los angeles born and raised!!! gimme childhood friends plots!!!!) bodie just moved to some shitty downtown LA apartment. being in his childhood home made him feel like he was drowning. tw donezo!

though his family is quite wealthy, his parents believe in bodie earning what he has, when he first moved out they only gave him some of an allowance every semester to help with his tuition. but he got a hold of his trust fund when he turned 21. he’s v frugal though and doesn’t flash his money at all, most people don’t even really know he has any money unless they knew him when he was younger.

SO bodie graduated with a bachelor of fine arts, concentrating in media arts. he hit the ground running as a production assistant in the cinematography department and that was really how he worked his way up to his position now. he aspires to continue to pursue a career as a cinematographer. the boy has a side hustle and shoots for aspiring instagram models lol, he also shoots special events upon request like weddings/bdays/parties

during his time at uni he met a beautiful gal that he fell In Love with. things moved so quickly between the two of them, they got engaged a year in. it was a romantic WHIRLWIND and a really exciting time of his life. but as they began planning their wedding, small arguments turned into full blown fights. they started spending less and less time together and going on less and less dates. they stopped talking about the wedding altogether, but still went through the motions of being together. he didn’t really know he had fallen out of love at first

this is probably his BIGGEST regret of his life – mainly because it fucked with his self perception and he started to let this define him. ALSO he had always prided himself in his ~goodness~ and didn’t really think he was capable of causing sUCH pain and being sO inconsiderate/selfish.. but he started sleeping with one of his close male friends while still engaged and in a relationship. because of that saying “once a cheater, always a cheater” he just can’t forgive himself and also doesn’t really trust himself. he was YOUNG and DUMB, but still wouldn’t ever use that as an excuse. bodie has definitely learned from his mistake.

OKAY jumping to present FINALLY!!

ftlog was not exactly the show he applied to the position for -- he has been with studio3 for a few years working on shows under other titles: production assistant, 1st/2nd assistant camera, he’s worked in the light department for a few smaller shows as well. bodie never really connected with ftlog, but it's his first gig as a camera operator, so he’s pretty excited to finally be the main guy behind the camera.

he’s basically a big fluff ball that has a past and is just trying his best to Be Happy

bodie is an irresponsible mess most of the time to anything non work related. he has to set a million alarms because more often than not, he sleeps through the first few – literally would wake up late in the afternoon every day if he could (HE LIVES FOR OVERNIGHT SHOOTS), he’s is constantly late to everything unless it’s work related. all his closest pals know if u want bodie to be On Time you have to tell him to get there at least a half hour before he really needs to be. he can only make it on time to set tbh. maybe u could see this coming, but he’s pretty much a night owl. he’ll stay up into the wee hours of the morn dickin around

MINI BACKSTORY 

— oliver was born in sopot, poland and partially raised in syracuse, ny. his parents immigrated to america from poland when he was around 10. he spent a fair deal of time learning english and perfecting his grades all throughout his adolescence. — he was a smart kid who did well in school, but as soon as puberty hit, he began to act out toward his parents. he stayed out late, partied all night, never came home. typical teenager stuff. this was due to confusion about his sexuality and unchecked mental illness, he finally sought out help and started to become clear-headed. — all throughout school, his parents were both pressuring him to go to college and live a practical life. it was at 15 when he found a love of film and cinematography; he had then decided to move to the city of angels as soon as he graduated. — he made that dream become a reality and moved out at 18, his parents weren't well off so he saved what he could and went with the clothes on his back. he worked various off jobs and had a full time barista job to make a living. — soon, he had bought a video camera and started his cinematography career. he made short films and garnered connections, always behind the scenes with everything. he had a successful start and continued to until the age of 28. — that was when someone had asked him to try out acting, he wasn't so into it at first but then realized he had a knack for it. he auditioned with a few smaller studios and worked his way up until he finally landed the role of troy in fright factor. now, his life couldn't be more different. his roots are very important to him and he loves that the public can get even a glimpse.

Ruby was adopted from Vietname by Chinese-American parents and she grew up in New York City.

She was bullied in high school and found solace in the theatre program.

She literally just liked to act because it was fun and it was an escape from the horrible life she had to deal with at school.

One of her classmates had an idea to start a Literary Web Series on YouTube based off of Sense and Sensibility and Ruby volunteered herself as one of the actors. She was cast as Marianne Dashwood.

Ruby thoroughly enjoyed herself and was actually getting some positive attention from it, so she moved on to another web series based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Her work blew up on twitter and facebook for her hilarious facial expressions and relatable one-liners like “I feel like a decorative trash can that just fell over and now my dirty contents and lying all over the street for anyone to grab”.

She was offered a very small role in a teen romantic comedy entitled “Love Bug”.

That was enough for Studio3 to catch her. 

She was cast as Haylie Jung and has pretty much become known in every household ever since. 

Her love of literature has inspired her to get a degree in English Lit at an online school, so she does that on the side when she’s not acting.

Because Ruby never had a wild and fun high school experience, she’s mostly looking for that kind of experience now. She is constantly looking for that family-kind-of-friendship, though she can party with pretty much anyone who crosses her path. 

She is very much still a Hollywood newb, even though she’s been in the biz for about 4 years now. She’s pretty good, but not good enough, so she often acts stupid and slips up every now and then.

Accidental Romance: After a wild party in the Summer, Ruby spent the night at his house because she was too drunk to go home on her own. The next morning, she emerged from his home in the clothes she wore the night before, which sparked romance rumors immediately. Ever since then, she has been romantically linked to him and there’s nothing she can say or do that will stop speculators from thinking they’ve been dating all this time.

Bullies: Everything just comes so easy to Ruby Young. She doesn’t even have to ask and yet she’s got the world at her feet. Everyone thinks she’s the girl who was just nice and sweet enough to receive the world, when in fact, she is reckless and wild and good things just seem to accidentally happen upon her. People can get jealous. People will want to soil her “innocent school-girl” reputation. 

Family-Like-Friendship: Ruby has never had that experience of having a group of friends that felt just like family and she is constantly striving for that. She’s always looking for those people that she can always rely on, who will accept her and love her for who she is.

Friends for Fame: Basically, people who use her for her status and love of partying. She can basically get them into any club because she has such a recognizable face. It would suck if she ever found out her so-called friends are using her for status, but ah well, that creates more drama that I love to see!
