Everything You Need to Know About LED Strip Lights
LED tape lights with a standard density are excellent for indirect accent lighting or small spaces. They are ideal for applications where less light is more critical because they are less intense than the greater density ones. Backlighting, stair lighting, and shelf lighting are a few examples of this. If you want additional light output, the high-density strips offer a significant improvement over the ordinary density. These are primarily used in situations where you need more light, have higher ceiling coves, or use them as the primary light source in a particular space. The light output is excellent for all types of task lighting, and you may even want a dimmer to decrease the brightness as necessary.
● Strips that are powered directly by a low DC voltage, usually between 12 and 24 volts. These adaptable strip lights may be cut every two inches and have an adhesive backing for simple mounting. They come with weatherproof protection and a variety of light outputs.
● AC Flexible strip lights that plug directly into your outlet are called Plug & Play 12V LED Strip Lights. All they need to do to get started is plug in. Up to 150 FT, these strips can run in far longer straight runs than DC Flex Strips.
