best kid’s books i totally don’t still read

who i am kidding i totally still read these.

ok first up is STREGA NONA - y’all this is a funny story about this little old lady(strega non ameans grandma witch) who helps everyone is town with her magic and also has this magic pasta pot cause magic witches ain’t got no time to make their own dinner right? and basically she hires this new guy named big anthony and chaos ensues. i ain’t about to spoil it for ya

next is WATCH OUT! BIG BRO’S COMING! - this book is just funny and i mostly just really like reading it to my little sister because its a fun book!

ooh another is FANCY NANCY books - guys i read those religiously as a kid alright there was one that talked about fancy nancy making a spa with her friend and y’all best believe i made allllllll of that stuff in my moms bathroom, i had a foot bath with marbles, i had 40+ colors of nail polish, i had tons of sparkly hair clips and ties, i had fancy magazines(with american girl dolls) for ppl to read while they were waiting, i had ice water for ultimate relaxation, guys i had lotions and hairsprays and e v e r y t h i n g. and since i owned the book, every couple of months i would get out the book and everything and set up ‘bea’s hair salon’ complete with a sign and special coupons for my mom because she would always come and-- wow okay i am just now realizing how sad this was, only my mom would come bc i was the oldest of two other brothers who would only come to  put their feet in the water. man, my mom put up with me for hours. dang. now i kinda wish my little sister was closer to my age because she’s totally into that stuff now and i’m not and niether are my brothers and okay this posts is devolving into me being sad bc my sister is ten years younger than me and therefore missing out on when me and my brothers actually did stuff and she’s growing up playing alone dude i just lost all will to continue listing my favorite kid’s books this is too sad im about to cry y’all
