remembering the time i learned to read a full page of text in two seconds. that was right fucked up innit

#it was part of a class i took in high school called brain users manual #i took that class because it was acronymified to b.u.m. #and it was right after my american short stories class. ass #anyways the required reading for the class was seven habits of highly effective people which had the result of fully shutting my brain off #stephen covey i will reach into hell to slap your bald head #but anyways. i have no idea if i retained the reading fast thing #bc it doesn’t really work when reading for pleasure it’s more for like. obtaining information from a page #i haven’t tried it on that sort of material in a decade
