*Claps* Soooo, since we're now in the evening of the great Halloween, who's up for a lil "spooky tale" straight from St. Ravilda's~*

Deep within the ancient halls of St. Ravilda's, on every shining night of the Full Moon... a secret stirs to rise up from the shadows...

As whispered and rumored by many students before, this presence is known as one of the spookiest beasts imaginable within Terra... and one who somehow made this place the forever home to lurk in. Though only a rare few have been bold enough to fully seek this creature out, accounts tend to say it bares the sharpest of teeth and blood red eyes... features most commonly known for the elusive Vampire species...

Mysterious as they are, they have long existed in folklore as being among the strongest fantasy creatures in just how agile and ruthless they are towards their "prey". With just a single bite of their razor-sharp teeth, they could easily drain and devour whoever dares to come near them... which could very well explain the strict lockdowns always being firmly-placed around these Full Moon nights (and especially so towards events like a Blood Moon, where Vampires can strike the "hardest" according to past accounts)

Yes, for all intents and purposes the current faculty and staff have more than the right to keep their school protected against such a beast... both inside and out of the premises once light's out...

...except, if only those same bold students could've been just a bit more bold to seek out this creature up in-person... perhaps they'd realize that its not their safety they should worry about, but in fact... the Vampire's...

Hey Donovan, how did it feel when you realized that your student Prym was Sir Luka's daughter?

"Heh, well it was definitely a surprise seeing the lil tyke again... last I saw of her she was just the size of my shins. Still, it was a relief nonetheless that she and her mom were doing okay enough for her to still attend Ravilda's... I know that's what Luka would've wanted 😔"

Even though she had feelings for Prym, did Rosabel ever date any girls during her time at St. Ravilda?

She had one brief relationship of sorts with Meirin awhile back (when they were around 15-16), both of whom connecting a bit over being the "snarky-yet-poised" ones of their respective groups. It didn't last beyond a few weeks though since Rosie realized she was still pining more for Prym, so she and Meirin ultimately decided to (amicably) end things. Currently things are still chill between them, with Meirin often offering to give Rosie some "pointers" to express herself whenever they're able to hang out.

Since I've been a bit inspired from some wedding videos I've watched recently, what kind of wedding dresses could you see some of the married, older adult characters wearing?

Ooh, interesting question ^^ I haven't really put much thought to it before tbh, but here's some ideas I got going for a few of the older married ladies of the TTM cast:

For Milana (Tula's mother) she wore a rather flowy & comfy gown to her wedding, which took place in a cozy barn setting with all their friends and local villagers celebrating their union~

For Meradyth (Prym's mother), she wore a loose-yet-delicate looking gown as a fresh change of pace for her wedding (one of the few family heirlooms she was able to recover in her adulthood). Setting-wise it was more of a simpler, intimate gathering in the forests that only their closest loved ones attended together

For Ceraeza (Autem's (+her sisters') mother), her wedding gown was rather elaborate in its floral-fitting design (but with some more colors & fabric to represent her Elven lineage). Her wedding took place up in the tree-tops of Efornia, fairly populated by both the royal court, their loved ones and the local villagers

For Vinia Crane (Raider & Noira's mother), she wore a gown that was both classy, modest yet fitted to her more "modernized" tastes among high society. She and Lachlan had their wedding up on one of the fancy-skyscraper rooftops overlooking New Grayle, both their loved ones and some top city profiles attending the event as guests-of-honor.

For Vira (Embyr's mama), upon her marriage to the Daemon war-lord, she doned herself in her best traditional Nydorian wedding dress (which over there, is black rather than white), elegantly flowing behind her all the way. The ceremony took place up on a mountain-top that had a crevice of underworld lava glowing underneath, illuminating the event with a gothic flair~

For Devonna (baby Luna's mother), she got married as well in a most fitting goth gown (again black like the Nydorian queen's). For their own wedding she and Alistair took their time to hold their ceremony in their home-country of Nydor... celebrating their union in an old church to be blessed by their favorite Daemon entities.

And for Prof. Naya (Sgt. Kodiak's wife), she wore a simplistic but still breezy wedding attire fitting for her and Kodiak's wedding on the beach (a way to help her feel more "connected" to her Tydas roots). In Donovan's eyes, she looked like an ocean goddess straight out of the waves~

lol bit more of a silly question, which of your OCs would you imagine owning a TikTok (or whatever the TTM-equivalent to that is :p)?

Heh, first ones that come to mind are Jingie, Raider, Kain, Zia, Prym, Hakem, Xoe, Embyr and Kiyana in terms of the younger adult/teen crowd.

In terms of older adults I feel like Devonna, Ramon & Naya would most likely have one since they’re among the more “chill” teachers connecting with the younger gen.

(-aaaaand for some reason I can’t help but feel like Headmaster Auran himself would run some kind of tiktok too lol. I mean he may be a powerful wise mage but he likes to have fun in his own ways too, y’know~? ;p)

*jfc, my dumb self kept forgetting to post this here after already debuting her on my DA, hhh -.-;*

-Buuuuut yeah, after a long time coming and thinking... I’ve decided to do a complete revamp to one of the oldest members of the main cast (*that I’ve sadly left a lil neglected overtime compared to my other characters* :c), iss Rosabel~ 💕

Hope you all enjoy her new debut! This lil flower child was def in due of an update after all this time, so I had alot of fun putting some more “life” back into her with her upcoming new character role in the story~ 😊 Enjoy!

~(Bio Info Below)~

Rosabel Espinosa (age 18) is an Earth Mage who had quite a promising life going for her back in the days of St. Ravilda's. A straight-A student, class representative, nudged to make it big with the popular kids by her social circle back home... Rosabel was surely fit to become a truly respectable Mage within her own right, as many were sure to think. And indeed, her power to enchant the planet's natural plant-life was quite admirable to see on the field... so, with so many good things going for miss Rosabel... what else could she have asked for? ..Well, in truth... a part of Rosabel truly wasn't as confident as she'd try to play herself off as... as back at home, it was quite a "difficult" house to return to with how distant her parents were in their own social-climbing world. Nothing ever seemed enough for them to be as content with having enough wealth to sustain themselves as a family... no, to truly be "up there" to the big guys was their biggest dream above all. And they made sure to always remind Rosabel of that whenever she "dared" to do as much as come home with a slightly lower grade, forgot to turn in certain assignments from too many all-nighters, or even so much as told-off any of her "dear" popular friends for being nosey lil jerks to her when others' backs were turned. No, she just had to live up to her name as the most "perfect little rose", in their eyes... naturally, leading to Rosabel in question to develop more of a snarkier, uptight shell to others as time went on... Still... even for all of Rosabel's constant schedules at school, even she knew that she needed some form of break from all the pressures... so, curiously one day of seeing a flier to help kickstart up the Ravilda Drama club again, it piqued her interest enough to maybe give it a try. And wouldn't you know... a certain other mage was just as keen to join the club too, in the form of none other than miss Prym Fletcher. You see, ever since the start of their Ravilda school days... there was always something about Prym that always drew Rosabel in to want to compete with. With how she was just so calm, smart, pretty and powerful with all that dark magic? Rosabel would be lying if she said that didn't "stir up" some things in her... of which she insisted meant nothing more than a "challenge" to outdo the young goth in any way she could. And of course, Prym... always being the sly one for a "challenge", was amused enough to accept these lil games which would soon lead to plenty more "back-and-forth" even well up on the stage. Definitely made their plays performed all the more entertaining to watch by certain crowds... and for once, hearing their genuine compliments in both hers and their other club members' performances actually started to make Rosabel feel... "at peace", for once. Little by little, she was relaxing up in her school assignments to not worry so much about good grades... grew patient enough to let other students get the chance at council decisions for once, and even didn't really hang out much with the popular crowd anymore compared to her actual, "true" friends over in Drama Club. Even Prym, as much as Rosabel was still too huffy to admit upfront... turned out to be alot more fun and friendly to be around whenever they actually had some chill moments between shows. Yet... sadly, by the time graduation came around and Prym's group wasted no time heading out to start their Traveling Mage lives, certain feelings were left unsaid on both parties... and now Rosabel was left to pick up the pieces back at her family home, as she hadn't really found the time to think of what she wanted to do for herself... And... for once, things seemed like they were going to be okay... her parents were alot calmer now, their funds were stabilizing, and many were looking to have Rosabel potentially "intern" with them after hearing of all her potential at Ravilda's. All leading up to one fateful night when... low and behold, a young rich man by the name of "Lord Zoras" was all too eager to meet up with Rosabel after his and her parents started to befriend one another over tea. As much as this man was already giving her nerves... Rosabel did her best to remain respectful and even accepted a little dance with him to be polite. All was fine, really... ...until Zoras got too bold in his advances, and Rosabel (being someone who never really "liked" guys in that way to begin with) got so panicked that she smacked him away with a boost of her own magic... causing many stunned looks among the now silent ballroom. Following an even more tense ride home... things only escalated further when her parents started to berate their daughter for "embarrassing" them in front of not just their social group, but also such a "powerful" man as this Lord Zoras. Now knowing the true extent of her parents' greed, and how little they truly cared for her  after all this time... Rosabel tearfully made the decision to pack up all she could, sneak out when they weren't looking... and never again look back on the house she once called "home"... From that point, Rosabel spent the next couple of days laying low in trying to leave town... not having much of a goal of exactly where to go among all these mixed, whirlwind emotions. Somehow, she managed to find her way back to the garden areas of St. Ravilda's... deciding to hide out there by some of the sheds until Professor Ramon managed to find her sneaking with some leftover food. As much at it pained her at first to have gotten caught in such a position... seeing the genuine look of concern in Ramon's eyes caused her to break down in confessing what she was going through, and how little she knew what to do with herself now that everything was "ruined"... Ramon... himself relating to Rosabel as he too was in a "similar" position of societal pressures so long ago... was able to comfort her the best he could as he offered to help take her in for the time being, and even offering to the other teachers to give Rosabel some kind of position at the school to keep herself occupied. With enough thinking over and some suggestions by those like Professor Nile and even librarian Capella... Headmaster Auran offered Rosabel the chance to train as an "apprentice" to any number of the current teachers at the school, whilst looking after the younger generations of students who may need some "chaperones" within their own projects. Indeed, it was quite an adjustment to get used to for the young girl... but with enough patience, time, and caring guidance by the other faculty... Rosabel was able to once again relax, and feel content that she found a safe place to truly call "home", once again. ...Still, there may be some days where she thinks back a bit to her former Drama Club members, how they might be doing... and especially of what a certain Dark mage may be up to all the way out in Terra... but well, with all that she's gathered in the safety of Ravilda's welcoming her back, Rosabel prefers to remain content with what she has now... and to make sure she upholds to the promise she made to the Headmaster in always being there to protect and guide her fellow students on the promising paths of Magehood. Even if certain mischevious royals and rich kids tend to make said job a little "tricky" to keep up with sometimes...

Yooo, I just remembered that Professor Kodiak used to be part of the King's Elite and knew Prym's father, Luka. Since Prym was one of his students, did he recognize Prym as Luka's daughter??

I would say yes, though since he was good friends with Meradyth he agreed to keep Prym's identity a secret for her safety's sake (same with Prof. Nile).

Can we have some head canons about the Kodiak couple?

-Donovan and Naya met a lil while back when they had a chance encounter by some training grounds near the school. Donovan was trying to demonstrate some combat moves to a few students that didn’t quite understand the technique, so Naya offered to help (Donovan unaware at the time that she was set to be a new teacher there). Nonchalantly Donovan agreed and together they fought one another... quickly ending with Naya overtaking him and winning the match once the other teachers came by to see the class. Surprisingly, Donovan was quite impressed by this woman’s strength and strategy in fighting him... so from that day onward he wouldn’t hesitate to ask her for coffee whenever they were off duty.

-As much as the two liked each other, it took awhile for them to actually get around the topic of fully-dating (especially by Donovan’s end since he still had some insecurities in himself that hesitated to ask her out for a serious date). It actually took until some of the students (primarily Prym’s trio) craftily setting up an elaborate dinner date right on the school grounds that they were able to lead Donovan and Naya to without either of them knowing. While the end results of the date setup was a bit... to be desired (generic party balloons, takeout pizza for dinner, and kinda-messy table decor was all the then-13 year old girls could afford at the time)... it ended up amusing Donovan and Naya enough to play along and enjoy the date setup anyway. Eventually leading to their date becoming a genuinely sweet time for the two of them... finally making the move to ask the other in going steady (+a kiss that made the girls nearby squee in their mission success).

-A couple more years into their relationship, Donovan decided to ask for Naya’s hand in marriage near one special spot/grassy hill that overlooked the entirety of the school from a distance. With a shining blue pearl ring in hand, Donovan... after much fumbling with his words... finally asked the fated question with Naya quickly answering with suddenly kissing him mid-sentence. When they finally got back to the school, the faculty and students there were all waiting with a big applause for the couple... much to Donovan and Naya’s flattered amusement.

-The couple spent their honeymoon in Naya’s home isle of Tydas, enjoying the relaxing serenity of the place compared to the crowded stuffiness of Graystone’s kingdom. It’s become one of Donovan’s goals to this day to buy them both a vacation home for them to further escape to Tydas whenever they want.

-Currently the couple live amongst themselves within a faculty dormitory at Ravilda’s, with the company of their sole cat “Smokey” (whom Donovan saved as a kitten many years ago) as their pet. Knowing Donovan’s soft spot for cats, Naya has made plans to surprise her husband with a new fur baby one of these days (despite him “insisting” that they can’t have more pets, though this is obviously just a front of his).

Auran: “Ahh, what a question indeed~ there is many I have long since adored since taking up the role as St. Ravilda’s headmaster: our curriculum being spread out to allow an equal teaching of magic to all mage types instead of some over others, our code of letting our aspiring mages being free to make their own paths upon graduating outside of olden traditions... and best of all, the feeling of knowing I have allowed my students the freedom to smile, express themselves and relax within our halls, now that is always something that brightens my morning each time I get ready for work 🥺💜”

I've always wondered. Since Elyvia White values perfection and probably thinks she has the "perfect family" (both her daughters attended the school where she works and her husband is her coworker), does she makes digs at coworkers who she thinks doesn't have that? Like Poppy Blanchard (who's a widow) and Devonna Corvus (whose husband is always away)?

Pretty much, yeah. She’d try to thinly disguise them as some ‘well meaning compliments’, but most wise around her know that she’s ultimately just speaking bs. (“Oh deary, I do wish you the best for this year’s Heartsblooming~ Saints that it’s a truest sign of good luck to have your soulmate right by you for this holiday’s festivities... ta-ta~”).

Hey Alastair, how do you feel about children experiencing the harshness of combat before they're ready?

Alastair: “...*sighs*... it is not an experience I wish to impart on any child, and I feel shame for their folks who do think it ‘shapes them up’ for the better 😒. St. Ravilda’s I’ll admit used to be quite authoritarian in this sense... as it was much more mandatory back in those days to be training in combat above your usual studies and curriculums 😔. I feel blessed that my little Luna is born in an era where young Mages are given a wider variety of options to choose for themselves outside of fighting... it’s what these young minds deserve above all else 🖤”

Ok, I've been wondering this ever since she was introduced, but who does Devonna get to watch Luna for the times when she doesn't bring her to class?

She tends to get either one of the lesser/not active teachers watch her for the moment, or even asks for assistance from one or more of the graduate students (Lyra, Briar, etc.) look after the baby in the meantime. With how well liked she is by the school, most are pretty eager to assist Miss Devonna however they can 😊.
