So today I was kinda bored and decided to read the "Be More Chill" book to see if there were any differences between the book and the musical.... and OH BOY WERE THERE SOME DIFFERENCES!!! I wrote down some of them, enjoy (beware spoilers obviously)

Did someone say Be More Chill SQUIP squad prom drawing?

No, they didn’t, but hey, I did it anyway!

(If you want you can pretend it’s a homecoming drawing since that makes more sense for the time of year it is right now).

This took me 20 hours on the art program alone, which is a long time for me! (Technically 26 if you include the time spent on the original because it’s all the same file lmao).

Original unfinished version (May 2022) and smaller group pictures under the cut!

Here’s the smaller groups! Rich on his own, Michael and Jake together, Jeremy and Christine together, and Brooke, Chloe, and Jenna together!

And here’s the original that I never finished! The only one who’s outfit stayed the same was Michael’s. Rich’s is pretty similar, Jeremy and Brooke are slight deviations, and everyone else’s is totally different! Their poses are pretty similar too, just minor changes and done at different skill levels lmao.

Jenna pulled out her phone, scrolling through photos. “I have an entire album on my phone dedicated to candid photos of Jake looking at you like you’re the sun.”

“... squinting and scrunched up face?”

“I have another album of him looking at your ass.”

“Jenna! He totally doesn’t like me. And even if he did, it’d never work, because I’m a terrible boyfriend.”

Christine raised her hand. “As someone that dated you, you’re not that bad. Like, most of your issues are internal. You were always nice on dates.” Jeremy’s entire face was red. “I-” “Seconded.” Brooke raised her hand as well. “I mean, there was that whole computer pill thing, but other than that, you were sweet.”

“This isn’t helping!” Jeremy protested, burying his face in his hands.

“He sat through all of Star Wars for you.” RIch pointed out.

“He said he liked them!” Jeremy looked up, before looking around the table. “What?” “I was trying to get him to watch them with me for years!” Rich groaned. “He would never do it. But the second you offered to watch them with him, he jumped on the offer. C’mon, Jere. He’s head over heels.” “It’s kind of pathetic, honestly.” Jenna muttered.

Jeremy turned to Michael, who had been pretty quiet. “You don’t believe them, do you?” Michael hesitated. “Well-” Jeremy let his head hit the table, groaning. “You’re all liars. Horrible, horrible liars, getting a boy’s hopes up.”
