simply beautiful.wow!!! these manips are so, so good. every image you chose works so well, and everything really looks amazing and cohesive!!! congrats on knocking your first supernova art out of the park!! <3 ... Your artwork tells a romantic story arc on its own but after reading the fanfic each picture is like an illustration of key moments and scenes in the story; they make a compelling combination. These are gorgeous! You captured these moments from the story perfectly... I love all of this but the first image is my favourite!!! It’s got such and action feel with the fireball in Regina’s hand and Emma holding the sword!! Plus I love Regina’s expression!! and the caption fits so wonderfully... HELP THAT KISS. I really really love it omg, it's such a difficult positioning but you MAKE IT WORK. I can't stop looking at it omfg. And all those caps!! These manips are perfect, the middle one is so SOFT and that sword in the first is so COOL. ALSO REGINA IS SO HOT WINDSWEPT AND ANGRY LIKE THAT I'M JUST SAYING. omg i'm LOVING this concept so much! s2 canon divergent fic is some of my favorite. i've read so much stuff that breaks off at the cricket game, but that first scene dragged me in right away... I must confess that it's sometimes hard for me to read fics from this time period purely for the reason that Regina is so unfairly treated. But it looks like your version of Emma doesn't have her head quite as far up the Charmings' asses as she did in the series... OH MY GOD A SEASON TWO FIC EHCNDJJXJE i haven't read one of these in a while and i am so hype... hdhkdxnje regina said OUR SON omg. Really great story. I love how they grew to care about each other by literally caring about each other. And how it gave them more strength... Cora in town is bad news to put it mildly. love how she berates her for being insufferably good then feels guilty for doing even that... The realization that Emma was the first person to ever protect her from Cora was a hit in the gut... Then Henry tearfully reassuring a sleeping Emma. Man, there's just so much in this chapter! Wow, well done... you're really digging into the comfort part of the hurt/comfort trope and that is wonderful! your descriptions of what they're both feeling, both physically and emotionally, are beautiful... This fic was beautiful and loving in exploring the slow growth of love and caring and how Regina and Emma had learned to protect themselves to the point where neither could imagine someone else caring and helping them.I love hurt/comfort fic, and this was one of the gentlest, most loving ones I've seen in the genre in a long time.

Author Interview — pseudomonalisa!
We sat down with @pseudomonalisa to talk about Her Healing Love, their process, and their Supernova adventure!
What inspired your story?
My stories are often inspired by fanart, and this was no exception. I found the piece "When you lose everything" by thakan on Deviantart, and the beginning of Chapter 2 was formed pretty much immediately. I built the rest of the story around that scene, pretty much.
How do you form your stories? Do you outline beforehand or write by the seat of your pants? Do you write linearly or out of order?
I write all kinds of out of order. I have disjointed scenes, sometimes pieces of miscellaneous dialogue, and eventually put it all together in some semblance of a cohesive story. It's only when I'm stuck and having trouble advancing the plot that I try and make an outline of what I want to have happen next.
What in your fic are you most proud of?
The pacing, for sure. I didn't want their developing relationship to seem contrived or fake, and I think I managed to do that pretty well. I am also such a big fan of the scene in chapter 4 where Emma wakes up briefly in Regina's embrace the morning after her nightmare. That is my favorite part in the whole story and I'm so freaking proud of all of the feels.
Was this Supernova experience different than your typical writing experience?
Absolutely! This was the first time I had access to a beta, and what an incredible difference that made! This story would've sucked without Sarah's help. Like, for real. The ending was terrible, and the dialogue was awkward af, and I'm so incredibly bad with commas. The amount of support available with Supernova from beta writers and cheerleaders and the whole community was just something special and I loved being a part of it.
