Lethal Protection from Ten for @professor-nikolai-frost? :>
[Non-canon event unless asked to be made otherwise. TW: death. Also this is a long post]
It was supposed to be a carefree day. Ten had found a good outfit that fit Frost's era and traveled all the way to the Foundingverse to meet Frost in person. They exchanged greetings and began to talk for hours, filling in the other on events that had transpired in their respective realities. They also used this time to exchange bits of their time period with the other, like sweets (Frost) or what a spark plug is (Ten) and why you should always carry one in your pocket.
The laughter and fun times died down as Ten began to hear a noise. It sounded like an engine almost, specifically one from his own time. In fact it sounded like a specific sort of engine that Ten was very familiar with, but there was no way they'd chase him all the way to another reality, right?
Unfortunately for Ten he was dead wrong. A large object landed harshly into the ground causing Ten and Frost to shield their eyes as dirt flew around them. When Ten lowered his arms he grimaced at what he saw. The object was large and metallic. It had a sleek yet boxy build and was black and brown with red accents. It had titanium claws and a red visor that resembled its "eye", and was complimented by a similar colored set of round ears. If Ten were to describe it it would be that he was looking at a bear mech. But the only one to have a mech like this was
"Digit."
Ten growled out the name as the figure made herself known on top of the bear-like robot. She had short sleek hair that was platinum with streaks of black. Her attire was similar to that of mecha animes with binary coding written on it. She held a neutral look as she jumped down and landed in front of the duo.
"My answer is still no," Ten asked, already knowing what she was going to ask of him. She rolled her eyes at Ten's response.
"Oh come on now," she spoke, "We both know you'd be having more fun back with the Nightsticks than at the Foundation talking with people like him," she said jabbing a thumb in Frost's direction. "Besides the big boss talks about you every day, can you at least come back so we can spared his yammering? The simpage is too much sometimes."
"I don't really care," Ten responded, anger rising. "You can just leave because I'm not going back!" Digit scoffed.
"Fine then. Don't come back. Just know I'm not leaving without a plus one to my body count." She then snapped her fingers and the mech began to make its way towards Frost. In quick succession Ten kicked out Digit's legs so she couldn't interfere, and ran towards Frost. He then took out the spark plug from in his jacket pocket and threw it at the mech's visor, shattering it upon impact. The mech roared in anguish and stepped back from Frost.
"Ursa!" Digit screamed before she roared in anger. "Alright, that's it," she spat as she pulled out a gun and pointed it at Frost, "I'll do it myself!" Just as she cocked the gun Ten threw the Nintendo DS he always keeps in his pocket at her head, stunning her as she instinctively held her head in pain. Ten took this brief moment too grab her and swing out in between Frost and the bear mech Ursa. A few seconds after landing her head was no longer throbbing, so she readied her gun again. Only to have her head be crushed under her own mech's mechanical paw.
Ten lifted his hand up and said aloud "Command Override Ursa, Co-Leader Pixel." As he said this the mech's broken visor changed from red to a light blue, and it's posture (if one could call it that) seemingly shifted to a more docile one. Ten finally let out his held breath as the adrenaline left him. He gave a small laugh that he not only re-claimed a mech he worked on, but his MTF training and FPS shooting skills were still on par, AND he protected the life of his friend.
As he thought that he turned towards Frost only to see his friends' face one of worry and confusion. Looks like he has a lot of explaining to do to the poor doctor.
