Do you think Zhao Yun in a dating game would be hard to romance?

HSHSHSHAS not an otoge expert, only ever seen bits of Hakuoki’s playthrough lol.

The only three kingdoms based otome I know is Jyuzaengi Engetsu Sangokuden (OLD STUFF I KNOW, but I enjoy their page’s BGM lots) which features a very Sima Shi looking Cao Cao. And this visual novel- Soubou Sangokushi (But this Yun is such a fucking asshole to the MC initially. Doesn’t matter my bias ass will still buy his CD given the chance).

I digress. Anyway, so far I can’t see how Zilong is a difficult love interest to deal with.

There is always this one “childhood friend” of the MC and something tells me Yun falls into that category. He should be easy to romance, since he may already had a crush on you long ago.

His hideaway quotes are all about spending time with you and wanting to listen to you; he’s also got a lot to share with you as well.

So let’s say in an option/dialogue based otoge, I’m guessing you’ll have to pick the choices that could result in heart-to-heart conversations. 

As for stats based dating game… Yun could be charismatic or fit. Pretty sure you’ll need to raise your popularity or fitness stats to unlock his.. route and CGs. Probably not a hassle too… ? Ack.

Everything that is right with Soubou Sangokushi Vol 5 - Kakou Ton

Finally getting through my backlog of drama CDs and I’m in a Nao-nii kind of mood so I found time to listen Vol 5! This did not disappoint me one bit.

At the top of my head, things that are right in Vol 5: 

Nao-nii, need I say more? XD

Kakou Ton’s cheeky/evil laugh 

love how the heroine has spunk, YEAH YOU GO GIRL!

the way he addresses the heroine as ‘onna’, Saitou what are you doing here in Soubou Sangokushi? XP

TRACK 11, THAT IS ALL. Seriously Nao-nii, why haven’t you ventured into the realm of R18 drama cds? /SHOT

He reminds of a child throwing a tantrum. Dear, calm your farm. 

Track 10, reaffirmed my adoration for the heroine. Touching moment between them. 

HE GOT COCKBLOCKED BY THE MESSENGER PERSON. HAHA.

Go listen to it if you haven’t yet. You won’t be disappointed.

Soubou Sangokushi - Vol. 2 Sou Sou

Sou Sou is played by Nakai Kazuya and he's an ore-sama, do-S character and as we've seen with my experience with Sagami 'Quick, someone punch him in the face' Eiji, I am in that group that just. Doesn't like sadists.

Story: 7/10 Storywise, this is a well-developed CD with fantastic pacing. The scenarios are well-written. All the way up till the part where I think they wanted us to feel sympathy for Sou Sou. I'm sorry, I find it hard to feel sympathy for someone who forces wine down your throat till you choke, lovingly (no, not really) refers to you as 'slave' and brands you with a red-hot iron so that everyone knows you belong to him. Firstly, what with the state of hygiene back then, you could have lost a body part from infection after getting branded. Secondly, no. Just. No.

Heartbreak level: 0/10 I only felt sorry for the MC and why she didn't just leave.

Creepiness level: 9?/10 This is not creepy so much as it is super uncomfortable for me. His treatment verges on abuse, and I'm not sure why she just takes it. NSFW level: 3/10 One scene with fade to black before anything beyond kissing happens. If only they had added a sizzling sound to the red hot iron scene, this could easily have been a nine. (To be honest, I'm not sure why that sound wasn't there.)

Recommended for: Masochists. That small niche that loves the thought of choking on wine, red hot irons, and being called 'slave'. I'll try not to judge you too hard from over here.

Soubou Sangokushi vol.6 Riku Son booklet. A day later than usual but the last volume is finally here. Don't know much about Riku Son so I'm kinda curious. Shuu Yu did mention him a little in his CD. Kinda sad this is the final CD since I've really enjoyed this series.
