It had been a fine experiment to test when they were supposed to behave and be civil last year, but after walking around a manor filled to the brim with blood and gore, it seemed like hiding in plain sight was this year’s approach. “Is there a way I can get a negroni sbagliato with prosecco in it here?” Her one and only cocktail connoisseur was the obvious target of the question. “Don’t give me a look. I need to try it.”
