do you have any art tips? i literally love everything about your art, and i look up to you so much! like the colors, the compositions, everything
this is a broad question, so its hard to answer! ofc we have the obvious “practice hard and study composition/color theory and also have fun!” but i’ll make this ask a free space for things i think about a lot;
find out exactly(hyper specifically!) what you like about certain colors and compositions. i find there to be tiny details(evening sun on glossy snow! that one fold an artist drew!) that im absolutely OBSESSED with! sometimes it’s a thing that an artist has only done once, and maybe it wasn’t even on purpose! sometimes it’s a staple! but i noticed it! and i try to figure out Why and How i did, and then incorporate that into my art, this time with more emphasis. the goal is to become an expert on that exact color blend/fold/line/whatever! it’s indulgent but i try to make art that caters to an incedibly specific set of niches i enjoy, and to do them as good as possible.
also, kind of related, i make A LOT of versions of the same artwork to figure out how i truly want it; with different background ideas and entire recolors that never see the light of day. my art folder tends to be like. 10 versions of every artwork with like a minor difference in each, no joking. it looks like this lol:

so figuring all this out is thru trial and error. i'm still far from perfecting the aspects i want to show in my art (there are things i don’t even know how to attempt in the first place!), but it's how i’ve improved most while still enjoying myself. i used to do the opposite; figure out what others wanted from me and fulfill that, but honestly my ideal art is super cool u havent seen it yet and neither have i but trust me it rules probably
